This was the last great music ever created. The early 90s to mis 90s. Very unique. There are bands that do it today but not mainstream. I think mastodon comes close now.
Yea this whole song is building and it’s perfect kinda like sober by tool how when the guitar stops everything stops and then it all comes back and makes this awesome song
@@clevelandshredder I can barely appreciate it, but can't fully tell apart the notes or enjoy that melody, it's pretty brillant tho, but the main distorded chords fill the sound a lot more in this one
If you ever had the pleasure to play through a 100w Marshall Stack on high gain and high volume, the last guitar chord of this song will never leave you.
@@zman_1148 Not just the 90s, really everything after Hagar joined. But to your point, I've always thought DeLeo's tone had a very Van Halen-ish sound to it, so this makes sense.
Dean has said before he mixed this way on purpose to give it more of a vintage tone. In fact most of his gear that he uses today is what they used back in the 90’s
Right? It's like hot summer nights, best of both worlds at time lol...they weren't afraid to wear there "non 90s" I fluences on there sleeves in addition to being musical....they had the sweet spot,
Yeah, most likely the Les Paul is on the Left/Middle and there`s a 12 string on the right (rickenbacker maybe?) and an acoustic on the hard left with a room mic on the right.
@@BrianAndersonPhotography yeah I definitely didn't hear that when I first heard the song. It's this little things that make a difference in a song I'm sure too.
