Hey man don't worry, before I got into hypnosis I did a lot of meditation and I had trouble with that as well. I went to see if I was doing something wrong and I thought I was stupid but really I was just kinda inexpirenced. Here is how I fixed it, I learned how to not judge myself for my mind wandering. I would just acknowledge the thought and let it go, put my mind back at rest without judgeing myself. This took me a good month and a half to really get down so if you don't get it that's fine I just thought you may want this advice still.

There's the conversational induction which works very well for ADHD.

I... Felt different? I can't explain, I felt airy, weightless. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it was strange. At the same time, it's been a while since I layed still for long periods of time (I usually stay up until I physically cannot and pass out, is it healthy? Probably not, but it's either that or lay awake for an hour.) Once the tape ended, and I stopped focusing on the shape I would be as a plushie, the sensation quickly ended as well. I'm not sure what exactly I'm meant to do, throughout the conversational induction, and the plushie transformation, I still felt wide awake, no different then if I was just listening to a documentary. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, like focusing on the wrong aspects. Am I supposed to be staring at the screen, or just blankly? I've had my eyes closed the entire time. And when you open your eyes, are you supposed to see yourself as a plushie? I'm one of those people who can't picture things, if I try to, it's either very faint in the back of my mind, or not there at all. I know some people can picture things, and manipulate them in their vision, so I'm worried that since I can't do that, if I open my eyes, it will break the illusion, but at the same time, I'm not sure how this works. Is it just a practice makes perfect thing, or are some people just immune to hypnotism? Sorry for the long message, and I don't mean to be negative. One things for certain, it is very relaxing nonetheless.

That's totally okay. The fact that you felt so different means that it worked very well. And yes, practice makes perfect, the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
