Hey! I was just wondering if the rod is still ok until now? I've seen many reviews that the rod easily broke. Is it true? Coz I want to buy the product though.
I still have mine and it still works. It’s not broken. It depends on how you use it and how you take care of it. If you take care of it, it will last you a long time. Ive bought 3 of these type rods off walmart. At first they worked fine, but after a bit the metal rings at the joints all came loose. I ended up carefully super glueing them back on. Carefully so u dont glue the joints! Or u wont be able to extend or compress them again. After that they have worked fine. I run penn ss reels on all mine.
If you catch a carp with this it will be able to handle it but it is a bit small if you want this to be your carp fishing pole. It will take a bit longer to reel in carp. I have another video with me catching a carp on it.
@@MNMadeAdventures I was considering putting it in my vice and trying to unscrew it but it doesn’t budge. Maybe they’ve got it threaded so tight it’s just not moving. I was also thinking about hitting it with some heat.

Having the same issue ...I've seen videos of the handle extening ..I have the 8ft one and the handle doesn't extend as I've seen in other videos reviewing the same exact rod
