What a fascinating and timely conversation. As the moon made its way through Capricorn and is now conjunct Pluto, I watched two Spanish language films on Netflix called ‘The Platform’ (El hoyo) and ‘The Platform 2’. They are horror films on the management and distribution of resources. It really captures the archetypal dynamics between Pluto and Ceres. You might even say that Demeter and Persephone are in the first movie. While the movies are definitely in the horror genre they are very thought-provoking and I might even rewatch them now that I’ve listened to your fantastic conversation. Loved this conversation! I have a 6th house Ceres in Taurus! Everything Sol said about government responsibilities are spot on. Everything in the US is for profit, healthcare, higher education and now even merchandising the presidency! I love the Scandinavian countries and how they have structured social incomes and benefits for the good of the people. Sending love to you both ❤

Fascinating to see Ceres Pluto charts. The AQU new phase conjunct Venus trine SN Libra and Sedna in Gemini - looks like beginning of awakening cycle towards (finally) aligning collective human social and communal needs in context to Earth needs. The stark disconnect between them so extremely apparent now. Living w/in natural law in relation to Aquarian themes, including AI (how we navigate it).

Demetria has discussed Proserpina and Persephone at length in older recordings from EA conference. I have used both at times. In my own chart they are in Virgo and Scorpio in aspect to both Venus and Pluto-further enriching the symbolism, even complicates or doubles down on natal archetype and Pluto soul desires.

I think Ceres is close to Inanna en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_of_Inanna_into_the_Underworld Inanna as Lady of the Sky is paired by her sister their the Queen of Death, Ereshkigal, who would take the Plutonian role :) Enki (which is sometimes equated to Aquarius afaik) plays some role as an ingenious protector of mankind, by resurrecting Inanna in one myth.
