In this year 2 different body styles..The Fury was a B body mid size and the fullsize C body Gran Fury! In the 80's the Gran Fury was a M body! *Yes I know your comment is 4 years old,but people see this today!
The "Fury/Monaco" was a good car! Motor/drivetrain WONDERFUL! The POOR workmanship/poor choices in "engineering" made it HORRIBLE in northern climates!
I test drove one with a 318 ,can't remember what care it had. You could see the needle on gas gauge move as you drove. I bought a 76 Ford ranchero with the 351 M. IMO 70s American made cars where junk by the time they hit 60 000 miles.
No they were not, they ran 400,000 miles easily...The so called 60,000 mile car you drove probably had 160,000...260,000...360,000 remember the odometers only went to 99,999 then went to 00,000!!! Please tell me what 70's American car was junk by 60,000 miles? Not Chrysler products my family bought them new and they all were running 10-15 years later with 300,000-500,000 miles on them!
