Great video. rrtyui is the reason why I even became an osu uploader in the first place, I absolutely loved watching him play just about anything and his tenacity to retry over and over for hours until he got what he wanted was honestly inspiring to watch, if Cookiez is made of talent, rrtyui was sheer and pure hardwork.

when i started the game, i met him on fb and didn't know who he was lmao, but he's a very cool dude to talk to

I'm truly thankful for these kinds of videos that help new players like me, with nothing but 6 digits to their names, get an insight into the legends of the playerbase

I freaked out when I saw his image material play live when he literally traveled back in time and not only hit a spaced pattern, but also went back to get the one circle he missed earlier without even getting the miss. Back then, it actually blew my mind and showed me the possibilities of insane plays just by focusing on combo more than acc/pp. It actually redefined my whole further osu career. Yes, I was a noob~ish player before that (started 2012) and I'm still in the 700k's, but it really showed me a whole new perspective of osu back then and I actually started from then having more fun than I would've had if I would continued grinding for pp's/top spots. If you ever read this rrtyui, thank you very much for all the awesome years. Thank you for shaking the entire game upside down for me. And good luck wherever you are. You'll always have a place in my heart forever. See you next time. :)

rrtyui’s golden era was the period when I started playing (late 2013), the day he got his Image Material play during the AntiBeat show match was easily the craziest moment I’ve witnessed live. The hype was unreal and I’ll never forget it. His Gangsta play was another one that I was lucky enough to catch live. Seeing an 8 star map be S ranked during that time period was unreal and it put him miles ahead of everyone else. This video made me really happy and nostalgic about my favorite period in osu! history. I haven’t played in 2 years now due to the meta shifting to the point where playing for fun is made near impossible online and the toxicity in the community was too much, but I’m fond of the good times I had and this was a nice way to experience some of that again. Thank you spazza.

look, rrtyui was a legend that's for sure, but he can't stay forever, he has his own life to deal with, many know him as a gamer but guys, respect his life too. he may have struggles? I bet wherever he is, even if he is retiring from it. Just don't hate him :)

damn nice video , very nice. i was so obsessed at rrtyui back in 2014 XD i also copied his grip style but i cant keep it for too long cause my fingers are too short so i decided to change the grip instead..its hard to find a player that is well-rounded like shige and rrtyui, pro players nowadays seems to hate hd for some reason.

Cookiezi with his "im here to delete my account" and rrtyui with "plz enjoy game". those are a glimpse of people who actually enjoying the game at the time but the weight of the crown and the crowd is pressuring them and they got tired of it. not to mention all of the pro player who already quit

Oh man, I really miss these years when Image Material was one of the most difficult maps on the game, like Yomi Yori now, and when 500 pp was a lot pf pp :( Ruruchi is one of the most iconic players on osu, a monster.

AAAHHH I MISS RRTYUI T^T, i always watch his livestreams not just because of his high level gameplay, also his attitude, rrtyui often reply to his viewer's chat and we're having fun chatting with him asking an opinion about other player or how's his life been, i wish he could livestream again idc what game he plays.

When I first time play osu 2 months from now before I have having no idea how to play but when I saw streamer like him and cookiezi my mindset was changed and I am now like when I play osu I be fun and goal that's it but not grinding because osu is fun not a grinding machine game I am having 219 pp in 2 months on mouse and I am happy with that
