PM Modi landed at the Joint Base Andrews in Washington DC on June 21 for a historic State Visit to the US. National anthems of India and the United States were played at the Joint Base Andrews. He is on a state visit to the USA at invitation of US President Biden, Frist Lady Jill Biden. Before leaving New York, PM Modi was greeted by the Indian Diaspora. Earlier, PM Modi led a special Yoga session at the UN headquarters in New York City.

REASON Many of these countries feel that things like hijab and burqa may promote radicalism and create security risks. This is an official state visit. Who didn't do their homework? Modiji does love the rain, but for heavens sake, where was the red carpet with Biden on it?
