Furthermore Israel is the home of almost two millions Russian speaking Jews, why would he betray them by risking their life. Vladimir Putin has zero common point with the Muslim world but all the similarities with Israel, including strong Slavic blood amongst the dominant Ashkenazim fraction of the state.
