install a bigger system makes sense. replace gas geyser with electric geyser, replace a petrol scooter with ev scooter, replace a lpg cooktop with electric induction then saving goes up to 50k per year which will increase your recovery cost i am using this kind of setup from 3 yrs

In delhi, calculation is very complex.. I have calculated.. From oct to march.. Comsumption is less than 200 unit result in zero bill.. Free electricity.. While from march to oct we have 1 Ac at home run for 16 hours every day.. We dnt have roof.. So we replace old ac with new inventor ac with 5 in 1 convertor ac of LG.. My annual bill reduce by 40 percent.. From 35 k annually to 21 k

Solar companies think that Govt increase the subsidy amount for their profit. 3kw solar before new subsidy cost upto 2 lakhs but from last month they increase the rate upto 2.5 lakh.

Good initiative by government however made useless by government employees. I had applied for connection last month. Until last week website was not working. Application was accepted once it started working but since than I am awaiting feasibility approval. I don't know whether I will get connection this time.

Hi Mam Please a add a point that in after market the 2 KW solar panels will be cost around 1 lakh rupees. So there is the scam, you can not chose the saler from out side, only from the list.

Sir plz aap mujhe ye btaye... Jaise hamare yaha 3 kw ka ongrid solar system lagwaya h.. Hamari input unit 50 hoti and export unit 300 hoti h jisme 250 unit humne grid ko transfer kr di... Ab wo 250 unit ka payment hydill wale customer ko dete h ya nhi... Kyuki hamri 1 year ki complete grid ko di gyi average unit 3000 hogi... Agar costomer ko payment nhi mila to 3000 unit ka hydil department ko fyada hoga.. And costomer ko loss... Ab aap btaye ki hume payment recieve hoga ya nhi.... Agar koi purana bill ho to aap us bill k dwara detail se bta dijiye...

Instead of solar roof tops one can invest the same total cost approximately 1,10,000/- to FD or MF and get 8k to 9k as interest which covers our electricity bill .

Mam, you have explained in very good manner with facts, however as I work in the power sector so I just want to submit some additional changes regarding Applicability of Technical Feasibility Study for Distribution Company:- As per Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Rules, 2020 Ministry of Power has notified the following amendment dtd. 22.02.2024 in sub-rule 7 of Rule no. 11 (Consumer as prosumer) of Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Rules, 2020 Sub-rule 7A : The applications for roof top solar photo voltaic systems upto 10 kW capacity, complete in all respects shall be deemed to have been accepted without requiring technical feasibility study and any commensurate enhancement of the sanctioned load of the consumer, as may be required, shall be carried out by the distribution licensee All distribution companies with approval of their respective SERCs will incorporate the above amendment

Nahi lagwana chaiye coz benefits se zyada sar dard hai isme. Maintanence ki jhaad, output degradation overtime, high upfront cost even after subsidy, higher time requirement for break even, no protection guarantee or insurance in case of physical damage done by envious neighbours, compromising roof space, heavy paperwork if subsidy is claimed, government intervention on usage of electricity, and many more issues with solar panel installation

300 यूनिट फ्री का क्या अर्थ है? सोलर से जितनी भी बिजली बने सारी मुफ्त होनी चाहिए ना? ऐसा लगता है जो बिजली जनरेट होगी वो सरकार को देनी पड़ेगी उसमे से 300 यूनिट ही फ्री मिलेगी। 300 से ज्यादा बिजली प्रयोग करने पर उसका बिल आएगा

क्या बिजली बिल में फिक्स्ड डिमांड चार्जेस भी जीरो हो जाएगा। जैसे मान लो सोलर पैनल से महीने में घर की बिजली का काम चल गया , ग्रीड से इस्तेमाल नहीं हुआ तो क्या फिक्स्ड डिमांड चार्ज भी नही आयेगा बिल में लगकर?
