Maybe PM do a better stand. I have a similar lathe (AL-336) by hare and forbes over here in Australia and the best thing I did was make a rigid stand for it. Steel box section welded and filled with epoxy granite and bolted down to the concrete floor. So It went from parting at 180 rpm to 1000 rpm in 4140 - it added that much performance to an already incredible machine. Glad you are still enjoying life with the hard cards you were dealt. @@Toolmaker001 there is an option for a motor to be added to the purchase I was just wondering if that was just additional? I did not want to mess the order up haha.
