I got mine as soon as they were available. Excellent construction, nice strong lockup, nice hand-filling size, and the action is so so smooth. I love it!
Good review, I picked one up after seeing this! Appreciate the honest reviews on your channel. I love how perfectly this lands right to the choked-up position after spidey flicking, extremely well designed. First PMP knife I have owned, and I'm very happy with it thanks Jim 😁
White mountain knives have them for $290 minus 10%, free shipping, no tax, so $261 delivered. I got mine a few weeks ago. It's got some Medford, Strider vibes to it. Love it so far, only minor complaint is lock bar access is tight and a bit sharp. Great video Jim!
Almost every knife today looks similar to another knife design. Your reference design directly made me think of a Strider. So does the plade of the PMP with the specific opening hole. I like Strider vibes. Missed the originsl ones. My personal 5 cents. The rear design of the PMP alienates me a bit. Does not fit the aesthetics of the overall knife for my taste.
The great thing about PMP knives is, when in hand, one can feel what the company and designers are about. There's a connection. The feel of an actual heavy duty tool that's functional, that you want to use, that's stylish, and unquestionably fun, fun to use. I love PMP knives.
I almost got Medford Slim Midi vibes when I first seen this knife. It’s oddly similar, yet, more refined and smooth. Would love to see PMP start making their knives in house. German engineering is always impressive.
@@JamesWalcher-hw1fr I could’ve sworn most reviewers have claimed PMP to be German? Either way, if it’s actually Swiss, even better!! The Swiss are magicians when it comes to engineering….basically everything. Whether it’s watches, knives, firearms (B&T, SAN Swiss Arms AG (Sig Sauer AG), Sphinx, Schmidt-Rubin, Waffenfabrik Bern/Karabiner K31 & K11), motors, etc.. I would love to see a Swiss company make their knives IN HOUSE!
