Brings back a lot of memories from when my dad used to race sprint cars and I raced mini sprints back in the day, about 20-yrs ago. I used to run a KZ1000 engine.
Ill be running a yamaha powered r6 on alcohol with carbs. Been doing a lot of maintenance the past few weeks to make sure we're ready for our 1st practice come April 20th at Butler Speedway. Motor is currently out of car being overhauled by Hawkeye Superbikes in Battle Creek, Michigan. Hopefully Ill have everything recorded so I can keep everyone out there updated on the latest.
Young and stupid beats ole and wise. Until your old and wise than everything looks young and stupid lol. Knowing what I know now I should have had my suit helmet and all belts on. Thanks for the comment tho. (I'm safer these days)
a mini sprint is like a smaller sprint car that runs a 600 cc motor in this case and will run winged and wingless while midgets have more powerful 1000cc motor but only run wingless
They have 600cc and 1000cc mini sprints. You'll see older ones running 1200s now and then. Outside of motorcycle engines vs. automobile engines, they usually run fairly different wing setups that you can tell apart easily. The biggest difference I'd say is that mini sprints use a chain drive instead of a live axle to keep the costs down.
Have a great day, God bless, Jesus Christ loves you all, John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son to whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life
This is funny and true. It had rained out before the video. Grass was wet and slick. Had just unloaded it from the previous owner that day. Had to play a little.
