PNG Kumuls Arrive

While the PNG Kumuls final 24-man squad for the upcoming Rugby League World Cup is yet to be made public, majority of the Australian-based players arrived in Port Moresby yesterday.
They headed straight into camp at the Stanley Hotel and will assemble in Port Moresby for a week before departing for the UK for the Rugby League World Cup, scheduled to kick off on 15th of October.
The Kumuls are pooled against Tonga, Wales and the Cook Islands.

Agree. and given Puara is nursing an injury, Segeyaro would be a great inclusion.

We have Edwin Ipape guys..speed and raw talent..I reckon his good enough to cover Watsy 🙏..very unfortunate for Sigi though

No question with Ipape. We are talking about bench hookers which is where Puara or Segeyaro come in the picture. Bench hooker role is what has won games for Kumuls. Yesterday's NRL grand final win by panthers is a classic example.

It's a shame they overlooked him. Despite his past misgivings towards Kumuls he still deserves reverence and respect for bringing PNG's name into Aussie footy.

Reconsider JS it's not too late. He's more experienced #9 game breaker than the current Kumuls. Include him so he's share of experience will make a difference on the big stage.

If JS was to have played, than the PM13 would have been a good litmus test for him, saddly neither him nor Liam Horne was in the team so the writing is obviously on the wall

True,,we are talking about world cup here,not Digicel cup or whatever cup,this is world cup, so experience nrl player like J's left out is a very big mistake I can say that,because he's accustom to playing in that level,,he should be on the lineup,,

It's a huge concern when everyone is reckoning the inclusion of James Segeyaro. Though we have someone raw talent here, when such well experienced player like JS is in the team, it does give confidence not only to the players but also those PNG rugby fans. We are psychology tunned as long as one or two of our Nrl players are in the team. To restore the People's confidence in the current Kumul team for the World Cup, the coaching staff need to come clear on why JS was omitted. It's a slap on the face. 😔😔

Hopefully, they make it through to the finals in the world cup. We do not want to see 64 to such shameful scores which is not worth the expense of PNG Parliamentarians.😏 K13 in total expenses, not including other Papua New Guineans to watch Prime Minister's cup.

go England and win for the sake of the 8 miipn people .sell your body online if you can't just put your hands up and let others raw experience player go and put the new rules onto test. thinking inferior when playing against foreigners must cease. noken showoff usim het just like Watson boas my hero although small butcan make a difference in the field. go kumuls
