fridge compressor. We need more smart people like you in our world.. thanks for sharing the video this has given me more information that i could have ever asked for :)
@@mrechbreger Actually, you can smell a little of the oil but it is very minimal and if you put the compressor into an enclosure it would be hard to smell anything.
@@iHayri1 I thought about using it too until the point that I read that those are non oilfree compressors. So I spent 100 bucks to get a oilfree compressor (it's for sure louder than the fridge compressor but it's still acceptable in the apartment). We're using a vacuum generator and the colour of the damping module has changed to a slightly oilish style.. I don't want to make the inside dirtier than needed.
@@mrechbreger It sure has oil in it but you can catch it so to speak with one of those cheap foam filters that you stick on the output pipe. Input being the vacuum in this case. This is more of a poor poor mans compressor, you can buy them as cheap as 5 bucks, I paid $2.50. lol, can't beat that :-) You know, you just brought me to an idea, I should put my air quality monitor next to it when running and see how much pollution I get. Worst case I could put a small tube connected to the output pipe out the window :-)
Great use of the appliance compressor!!! Sorry to hear that those stupid screws are taking so long to be delivered!!! But on the brighter side....no chips were harmed in the making of your video...Yayy!!! :)
Thank you Adam, most of the time I even order items double from different vendors, just to be sure that at least one arrives in a timely manner :-) Now I need to finish your temp cubes and send everything out, the OLEDiCADE's are jumping around in the box and are eager to be played :-)
I have tested the solenoid with several thousand cycles with no problems whatsoever. The changer is just a mechanical part and can be used indefinitely, don't think that the neodymium magnets wear out :-)
@@iHayri1 Two questions for you: 1. is this the solenoid? www.banggood.com/12V-DC-2-position-3-way-Small-Mini-Electric-Solenoid-Valve-for-Gas-AirPump-p-1057895.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN 2. Does that adapter that mounts on the motor allow for auto-change? Can you show me an auto-change cycle? I don't see how that is able to do autochange... thanks for your time
So random question, I have the ability to mill my own PCB's - I roughly see how you made those Nozzle Holders, but I would feel bad essentially copying your design? Would you have issue if I made my own versions of them, for myself?
Hayri but still. You have to tell the code where and what for components and tip changes. Guess I need to look at Eagle maybe to understand. :-) Looking forward to seeing this running.
Eagle just tell the PNP where the parts are located with coordinates, then you tell the PNP, when you set it up where you placed the parts on the table and the machine then picks up the component and places the part. Of course there is more involved in this like nozzle change for various parts and so on. You need to tell the machine in the setup which nozzle too use for which parts. Just check OpenPNP software and you will get your answers.
The ones I use won't help you much unless you have the exact same design, if they are too big, they will stick to the nozzle, if they are too small, they will not hold it.
@@iHayri1 i wanted to understand who many pieces there are. i found in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rm-aIyV9Cko.html thank you for your reply
Hi Mike, haven't heard any issues like that till now, also my magnets do not really touch the Juki's plus I have seen similar designs where the magnet actually touches the nozzle holder while in rest position and no issues. But thanks for pointing it out, will keep it in mind.
Hi Johan, they did not get lost, I just can't keep up with all the requests I am getting. Due to too many projects I have going on and I'm behind, I will not be able to make anything custom for a while, sorry.
hey i have a question for you :) i have Ford Focus 2008 and i have check your old video for speedometer / clock / etc etc etc... R u able to create à new LCD panel for my car ? im lookiing for replace that : fkcd.ca/6uI.jpg Im looking for that function : Clock / Date / Speed / Sensor and compatible with OEM function for show CD TXT / SIRIUS TXT / BRAND TXT / AM-FM Channel and TXT. Its possible ? i can pay if u can :) If u can't, can u replace my LCD dash board for show Clock / Date / Speed / Sensor / TRIP A / TRIP B ?
Sorry, I do not work with LCD displays anymore, still have plenty collecting dust, and I just don't have the time to take on any custom work, been too busy with my own, still unfinished projects.
Yan Bourgeois Man, I hope that you got plenty of money, because you're asking for months of dedicated work and some hundreds, maybe some thousand in parts... Custom LCDs and hack proprietary communication protocols can be a hell.
Wrong, guess you did not watch the video, there is absolutely no noise coming out of the valve and since I am using a fridge compressor you can hardly hear that either. But most people use the aquarium pumps that are annoyingly loud, those make sound, not the valve I am using.
Hayri well not that too noisy but still can hear clank clank.. I've seen ur video and it seem used same solenoid like I used.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L__nPkoibg8.html
Nope, mine are way quieter :-) My phone was like 3cm from the solenoid and the switch from the battery holder is louder than the solenoid. Maybe you are using yours with a higher voltage, also your vacuum pump can be heard. Once I have my compressor in a enclosure and underneath the table it will be whisper quiet :-) What software are you using on your PNP, is it OpenPNP ?
Yes it was openpnp using ramps 1.4 board.. I'm using 12 volt from d9 and d10 to run a pair nc valve, no valve and vacuum pump and let 1 blow pump keep running, will give a try on 6 volt using stepdown for valve maybe it will be quieter.. Thank's for the advise. :D
If you have the same solenoid as I do you can even power them directly from a 5V pin on the mega. How good does the mega with the ramps and OpenPNP work? I got some spare and could try it although I wanted to use the Liteplacer software.
Thanks for your words. I have watched some of your project videos. If there is any need to visit our website - www.wellpcb.com. We also welcome your comments or suggestions to our website.
I did check out your website, seems like the standart ordering page these days. www.PCBWay.com is very similar. I do like the additional PCB colors you have.
There is no extra charge for the color of solder mask and silk screen. Hope we can have a chance to cooperate. I believe you must be impressed by our quality.
It"s just next to impossible to try out all Fab houses, especially because I am getting my PCB's for free, actually in exchange for RU-vid video reviews.
Very cool stuff! I don't hate LED lights... I hate RGB LEDs for the sake of it. It's like all those ridiculous keyboards that have flashing or pulsing RGB backlighting. Point is... what? Ruin your night vision gaming at night? Just generally being annoying? Oh, wait, it's another marketing buzz word they can stick on the box and make you pay more for it.
Thanks for your input. Well, I do love my RGB lighted keyboard :-) but I am not a gamer although I love how it lights up at night where I do most of my work. On the other hand, I used to have underglow Neon lights on my car but that was 25 years ago, would I do it now? Hell no, I don't even listen to music in my car anymore, just want my piece and quiet while I listen to the car engine :-) For anybody that wants to know it, I have a Alfa Romeo with a boxer engine and that just sounds great. Not to mention that I have a 20 dollar radio in my car :-) I agree with it being a marketing buzz and sometimes less is more. Thanks if you read it this far.
Thanks for the link. Btw, I had my nozzles on the holder for a long time and they did not magnetize. As I mentioned earlier mine do not touch the nozzle. Also the smaller nozzles do seem to be made out of metal only the bigger one for chips has a rubber ring and that can not be magnetized even if you wanted anyway :-) There are also a lot of fake Juki holders out there, so it might be different from the original ones.
