A search warrant is issued by a judge commanding a peace officer to search for personal property and bring it before the court (Alvarez vs. Court of First Instance of Tayabas, G.R. No. 45358, 29 January 1937). The officers were not searching for any personal property were they? They were looking for the Pastor, right? I believe there are at least 2 arrest warrants against the Pastor issued by the RTC - one issued by a Davao RTC for violation of RA 7610 (Anti Child Abuse Law, specifically the provision on sexual abuse of minors and maltreatment) and another issued by a Pasig City RTC for a non-bailable offense of qualified human trafficking. The arrest warrants, which are valid since they have not been quashed, gave the police officers the right to arrest the persons of interest named on the warrant wherever they find them. This means that the persons can be arrested at their place of work (compound of KOJC), at their residence, after they're pulled over on the road or anywhere else in public. The police officers were not there to search a personal property (unless you consider Quiboloy, et al as one?) The police officers were serving arrest warrants issued by the courts. One for violation of RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) issued by RTC Davao and the other by RTC Pasig for qualified human trafficking. Once the arrest warrant is granted by a judge in a court of law, the local law enforcement officials are legally allowed to arrest the person of interest named on the warrant wherever they find that person. This means that the person can be arrested at their place of work (KOJC offices), at their residence, after they are pulled over on the road or anywhere else in public. Hindi dapat nakakataas ang sundin kundi ang batas.kong wala kang search warrant hindi ka pwedeng pumasok sa isan private property.at wala naman c pastor don bat sila nag arrest warrant.?kasi sa batas kong mag serve ka nang arrest warrant dapat sure ka na nandoon ang inaresto mo.
