I really enjoyed the telescope story and your Emerson quotes regarding the 'heroism' of resisting the conforming behaviour of the herd. It helps me to stay strong when I know I'm right.
+Mustard Lee Right on and here's to the courage to trust ourselves (while remaining open, of course :)! Optimize is now free! Sign up/tell your friends! www.optimize.me
“Society will whip you with its displeasure of nonconformity.” Damn. So true and so many are fearful of this whipping. These moments make me grateful for being the so-called black sheep of the family. I grew up unwilling to conform to things that didn’t make sense to me-which was a lot!! It wasn’t easy going against the grain (many tears, feeling out of place, & excluded) but at least I built that muscle early in life and it’s helped me tremendously. Appreciate the summary. I like to know what I’m getting into before I invest my time in another book. So much repetition on the same ideas but I think I’ll enjoy this fresh perspective. About to dive into the book now ✨
Hey Brian! Regarding conformity, it was Solomon Asch who studied this isseue extensively, and nowadays you can see how a group of people can influence one person in an elevator to face the direction they're facing. Amazing.

Really Really love this. super helpful to me where I'm at. Appreciate you brother. And, yes, we use that SI app for our boys baseball teams. Couldn't manage without it. Thank you!
I only get on RU-vid to watch your amazing vids along with Tai Lopez and Dan Peña! So much easier than reading and so explicitly down to the fundamentals that lead to a better life!! I fucking love your RU-vid channel!!!
Another great video. Thanks, Brian! I loved the part about focus and the golf analogy. As far as conformity is concerned I find "How I found freedom in an unfree world" by Harry Browne really insightful, though some of it has to be taken with a grain of salt.
Hey Brian is there any chance for book top ten list? or even an top 20 book list? .... Would love to see theat, maybe just as a blog aticle. Great video btw
+Fabi A. There are several components to becoming successful. These include: Taking control of your own health. Learning about the power of your mind. Following in the tracks of successful people. One plan I found which combines these is the Magic Progress Shortcut (check it out on google) definately the no.1 info on success i've seen. look at this incredible website.
Here's some tips for becoming successful. 1) Take control of your health. 2) Learn about the power of your mind. 3) Follow the path of people who have already done what you plan to do. I discovered these tips from the Magic Progress Shortcut (check it out on google) definately the most incredible course on success i've heard of.
Hey Brian ! What is that book where you talk about the psychological resiliency of people of england when they were bombed by the nazi and how they unexpectedly became more fearless about it with time. I am in Paris now and wanted to look deeper into this book but couldn't google it. Thanks for everything !

So a lot of stress is....good ? Seems rather discordant to the studies done showing of the many emotional and physical negative affects of stress, not to mention the teaching of Buddha and Jesus, about being at peace
