Love it! It's such a great time for electronic musicians these days. Gear is more portable, battery powered, and still sounds great. What a great time to be alive!
I found yr channel initially by looking for videos on my (then new) (also my first MIDI capable hardware synth) the Mono Station and then found this video when looking for videos on syncing the MS with the Pocket Operators and here this one was! (My friend just gave me a KO-33 for my birthday 😊) Thanks for the great (and highly relevant) content!
Sounds like you need a vacation away from L.A. at the end of this video. . .Your music was SmOkin' !!! Glad you finished up the sounds you were creating and turned it all into a finished song/dance beat. Take a Bubble-Bath and spray the water bubbles with your favorite Parfúm or Oil. Put in some earplugs...just r e l a x ~⛅
loving this series and the way you comment your steps. helps a lot to understand and it makes fun watching! the laid back atmosphere and the nice groove are awesome, as always!
your soundcloud confirms you're making house. it's cool people are still making house with sort of traditional house beats. i know almost nothing about it but i sure find it awesome...
i purchased a few pocket operators and lets just say i feel like i mastered them from my production aspect ... this vid gave me inspiration to post my own thank you
I've had a splitter like that for two years now and it never dawned on me to use that to sync two separate pocket operators from my volca's? Thank you!🙏✌
i relate so hard to that headphone splitter workaround. I feel like I'm always solving clock or audio input issues with some random adapter I didn't know I had.
thanks for explaining the setup!!!!! just bought the mono station and thinking of buying PO's :D still need to puzzle everything (also with the circuit).
Hi Do you think a mono 3.5 (mini jack) would sync a PO to a monostation or do i need a stereo one? About MonoStation did you notice that the volume knob is strangely calibrated (almost no volume from start to 12 o clock)? thanx, keep on, like your channel
If it’s possible, can you do a tutorial on how to add a long sample to more than one patterns without the sample getting chopped up/ instead of copying the sample into the drum section and keeping it in the melodic section?
E- you got a Volca/Circuit/Monostation Video? Would love to see the sync set up. Also love to see a monostation/circuit/iPad combo if you have any. Dude is tempting.
greets , i have a question about CV out (beginer in this) : the manual say it's trs jack , can i use a TS jack to send this CV info to another gear ( a moog phaser) some years ago i did try to send from cv out of a beat step with a TS and it worked , thanks and thanks also for your great videos.
