Even as a patroller myself I was kind of rooting for you guys. That’s a cool brother bonding moment. Those moguls looked fun and you guys can handle yourself on the slopes, BUT usually trails are closed for safety reasons and I’d hate to see you guys get hurt. We don’t check closed trails, so if you’re out of bounds and hurt we won’t know you’re there, which is especially bad if it’s closing time and you were to be stuck out all night while we searched for you having no idea if or where you went out of bounds once your parents reported you missing. I know sometimes we can seem like killjoys, but remember that Ski Patrol is more medic than ski cop. We just want to keep everyone safe and help them when they need us. Have fun and be safe!
Aw man. You love to see it. The most fun I ever had in my childhood was poaching trails on the east coast; where ski patrollers rule with an iron first. It makes it so much more rewarding. You got the goods; well done, keep sticking it to the man.
Good springtime poach you guys... in the future get rid of the red pants get olive green or brown in case you need to duck into the trees to hide ! I didn't see you cross a CLOSED sign so you didn't do anything wrong ! ALSO from an experienced poacher I can tell you ALWAYS have a pre-planned story of why you we're on a closed run in case you get caught ! Here's a good one we went into the trees to pee and we got lost and came out on this run we didn't know it was closed we never crossed a closed sign😜
And don't poach liftlines. Really easy to get busted on a liftline, stay off of liftlines. As long as you're not on liftlines, you can usually make a good excuse lol
You guys got me hooked. I would never do this, because I couldn't bring myself to go against the rules (I don't want to get caught and get kicked out), but the fact that you guys, kids who are presumably even younger than myself, can do it, is just awesome!
I can tell the haters in the comments have never skied on the east coast, these kids obviously got some skills, and they know when somethings not skiable. Not like this is out west where there’s avalanche danger and such.
your not supposta film your crime and brag about it on the internet. what if some one else saw you doing that and followed and by chance got hurt. they would be on a closed trail with less traffic and maybe not be seen with no way to call for help. ski patrol isnt there to make you have a bad time. they are there to help and mark the trails closed for a reason.
Just some little kids looking for attention... please never do this! As a professional skier, I get the urge to do stuff like this but if a trail is closed its most likely closed for safety reasons. I hate seeing people get hurt on the slopes. So PLEASE never do this! I would also like to say you guys are shredding it out there on the trails, great skills!
@ZackTheRipper47 That was a very entertaining video. How old are you exactly? Amazing skiing you sounded like 12 but got very good skills. Just take it easy out there, I have been injured by poaching trails myself. Even though I am only like a year older I think you still ski better than me. Also how long have you been skiing for? You deserve waaaayyyy more subs man, I am gonna sub myself. Keep up the good work!
I was boutta talk mad shiieit on duckin ropes until I realized y’all are just lil rippers and I did the exact same thing with my buddies when I was that age. Keep causin trouble and have fun and be safe🤙🏽🤙🏽
As a parent and former ski patroller I’m very disappointed in whoever is parenting this kid. No doubt the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. If this kid and his friends ended up getting hurt on their out of bounds adventure these parents would be the first ones screaming at the ski patrol to go out and find their kid.
As a current ski patrol these kids crushed it. Yes they were poaching but that apart of skiing. It was an inbounds run and they knew what they were doing lol
Dude there like 10 I guess and already ducking ropes sick stuff dudes, those moguls are irresistible u gotta dude what ya gotta do even if it means dodging the o'ps
Yo i love to ski and have been for 20 years but like please I know its tempting don't duck under the lines, it ruins the snow for when it does open, its dangerous, and you risk your pass. Still this vid is pretty cool.
In 68 years of skiing, I've probably poached/ skied out of bounds 1, 000 times, probably more (who's counting). Only got avalanched twice, but never caught by the ski patrol. I'm just too damn fast. OK, I used to be anyway.
Ski patrol closes trails for people’s safety. Mountains don’t want to close trails - that’s bad for business. People who get in accidents on closed trails take longer to be found or may not be found because they aren’t supposed to be there. People can die on ski hills - it is an extreme sport in extreme conditions. Be careful please. You have people who love and care for you. Ski patrol makes tough decisions that make both the mountain administration and skiers unhappy - but they save lives everyday, not just through rescue but also prevention. Please have respect for our wilderness rescuers and don’t become another tragic story they bring home to their loved ones - nor one they have to explain to yours.
If these kids are breaking all the rules & destroying property I would hate to think of whatever else they are doing in life that sets them on a path of being delinquent young adults. If they were to get seriously injured who would help them now ?
Hey dude, I was wondering what go pro mount you have because I want to record myself skiing. If you could send the link that would be nice but telling me the name would be fine
