I preffer the pobeda over the chkalov. The strenght of the russian carriers is attacking and barely passing thru AA radius, the chkalov bombers require to get very close and it replaces the attack aircraft, the only upside beign that is better against DDs and also +1 torpedo bomber per squad

You can't do shit with the Pobeda against ships behind a cliff. Makes a huge difference. On top of that, he got flood and fire on pretty much every attack and I sometimes get 150k+ with the Chkalov in the current ranked against tier IX, so, not impressed.

i reached the gold league qualification using Popeda from the first sprint in just 2 days I finished the silver league and I used some special build for her
