Interesting little tool. Does it run very hot? How stable is it really? It does seem to drop voltage when accelerating. So maybe not so suitable for track power? But perfect for the tire truer.
It dropped .1 of a volt. But yes, as I said better suited for benchtop. Seems stable enough and no signs of excess heat. Other enthusiasts report still working fine after several years.
