@@carry_everyday_9619 I EDC the same leather pocket organizer as everyday with the usual stuff, Warrior mini, pry bar, modified pen, notebook (which I never use), multi mini screwdriver. Ferrum Forge Singer (back up knife) and today the amazing Kansept Fenrir, wanted to impress people at lunch with my phenomenal (mediocre) front flippin skills.
Vero has some major fidget factor! Enjoy that you always mention what items come from what companies, I had no idea edc was such a big thing already. Been into EDC for about a year now. As someone in a manual wheelchair finding all these ways to carry stuff by molle strapping it to my chair makes life so much easier.
Thank you! I try to show it at the bottom in case people have any questions. Have you looked into any EDC pouches? I feel like it could be helpful if you’re in a manual wheelchair… maybe!
You do a great job! Yes, I have found all sorts of uses for magazine pouches, I carry a gerber center drive and a flashlight strapped under the bottom of my chair on one side and another mag pouch that serves as my ouch pouch or other small...survival kit stuff on the other side.
I had a stay in my local hospital last December from Covid and it reinforced my respect for your profession. Nurses are the backbone of the health care industry so I have the utmost appreciation for you and your peers.
Yeah I mostly just use my knife for cutting my lunch. Though using a vosteed Nightshade lt for cutting some tomatoes seems a bit much to me some times.
General rule of thumb, no Micarta around any kind of bodily fluids or anything you're not okay with having be in your knife forever. Theres reasons alot of hunting knives have wood or G10 handled. My point - Titanium FTW! 🤘😂
The other thing your knife could come in handy is if someone tries to hang themselves in their room. If your scissors aren't handy the knife is a good back up. I'm not a nurse but as a first responder I've had to cut a few people down and scissors dont always work the best for that.
Work in IT for the local hospital and surrounding clinics. Carry all kinds of EDC stuffs, including a larger folder in the front right pocket. Being down south, most folks would probably look at cha crazy if you didn't carry some form of pocket knife :D
After watching your video I watched Lefty EDC video on the Neuron and he was reviewing a mini Fulcrum. I went on the site and ordered 2 Fulcrums 1 for me and 1 for a contractor friend doing work on my house. I enjoy your videos Thank You
Thank you!! And I know I was surprised. It’s probably because I was charge nurse and didn’t have actual patients. Most of the time it’s up in a ponytail 😂
Excellent carry and video! That Vero is really nice. I just picked up my first Vero, the Impulse Mini, and the fit and finish and the action are incredible.
Thank you mam for your service to humanity as a nurse! I think it’s great that I’ve found a knife nut nurse on RU-vid! Looking forward to many more of your videos!
Thanks for being there for us! May I suggest Casio DW-5600 series G-Shocks? They're down to the second, dang near indestructible, and come in amazing colors--including purple 🟣! Just because we can't have enough hobbies 😎
You got yourself a marvelous profession there all right! Regarding carrying a knife dont be afraid to dream bigger so to say) Cold Steel Talwar works for me just fine) Cheers
Nice pocket dump. I can relate to the lending out of my carry items to someone and not getting them back it happens to me mainly with pens at work so I started carrying "my pen" and also a " loaner pen" to work nothing worse than losing your favorite writing tool other than your knife of course. Take care, all the best.
I love how friendly the Vero designs look for non knife people. No sharp point, no jagged line: just a nice knife that looks like it’s for “safe” things. I know that’s goofy, but in an office setting, that matters.
I'm new to your channel and a new sub. Excellent content. I'm a retired OT and I can remember picking a favorite knife to take with me to work. I wish you all the best.
God bless you!!!!!!!!!....I could watch these every day if you did them every day!!! Lol just saying!!!!!! You freaking rock..... keep on keeping on dear!!!!!
I'm not in the medical field, but as far as work watches I'm sold on a smart watch. I'm retired and work as a night janitor now and I like being able to just tell my watch to set a timer or start a stopwatch so I don't have to touch it when my hands are gross. I have it in a Spigen rugged case so I don't have to worry about trashing it either because I rap it up against stuff A LOT during a shift.
Watches, pens and knives are a collection trifecta I have only seen dudes interested in, so it's cool to see a woman into it. Since you're a nurse, thanks for your service and I'm sorry you all take so much BS, especially nowadays. Love the moment @4:01
Drs are the worst for nicking pens aren’t they! I like a fine tip Bic pen in four colours. I had my pink penlight engraved with my name……..it doesn’t usually go far🤣
Ohhhh and is be willing to bet.. lol if you worked in a different part of the hospital or whatever.. where your spending more time with patients that are maybe admitted to the hospital.... they must all just ABSOLUTELY adore you!!!! Lol I know I would if you were my nurse....... to the real super heroes of working America!!!!!! Nurses!!!!!! Thank you for what you do....I know how hard it is to become one and work as one....
Side note, knowing what nurses are exposed to i have often wondered why ya'll wear running shoes. I was exposed to a lot of the same type stuff so I always wore polish able water resistant tac boots. They usually kept my feet dry from gross things 😉 and easily wiped down to disinfect. As well as long as you buy the right ones comfortable as hell and durable
Hahaha I would love to wear boots to work actually. But it’s kind of that effect of, I don’t want all my co workers and patients staring at me funny. But I do enjoy these brooks. They don’t hurt my feet as bad as some other shoes!
Just like every other serious knife freak, I'm always looking for a reason to use my knife. The main use that the majority of my knives get is fidgeting... Always while I'm driving and always while watching a screen. Don't get me wrong a cut plenty of stuff during the day, but it doesn't pale in comparison to the amount of knife flicking I do
I work in a dirty hot factory that manufacturers ring gears for car transmissions... So the bigger the better😄 Unfortunately I can't carry anything magnetic because of all the metal dust in the air. I almost ruined an olight baton 3 because the metal dust is everywhere. It's been a major factor in me not purchasing a winterco factor because I would want to edc it. Otherwise it would just sit at home because I work everyday all day😐
I carry all the time…. I rather be Safe then Sorry. Some states and cities are encouraging and protecting violent criminals. Not here in Montana though. Always be safe…
What a stupid suggestion if anyone thought a nice young lady who is professional RN would carry a knife to work with the intent of harming anyone. So dumb. Make sure nobody borrows your cool TT pen and swipe it. 😉This femur pen is so cool. 😄
Love your channel, subbed with notifications on 😃 Quick question, my wife is also a nurse and she uses a lowlight flashlight to check on her patients without bothering them while they sleep (graveyard) I thought maybe she would love an Olight O pen and wanted to know if you have ever used one in you nursey loadout…seems like it would be a good fit since it lightens the load by doing double duty but, I would love your opinion. Thank you for your honest and thoughtful reviews. Have a great day! 😃
I have actually never tried the olight pen… but… that’s a great idea! I’m sure it would work well. I work night shift as well. I currently just ordered a new pen light because mine died. It’s a “mini” one so I’m interested to see how it will carry in my front pocket.
