Great taste my friend! I own and carry 3 of the 5 you reviewed. The Seecamp LSW 32, the Beretta 3032 Tomcat and the S & W 638 (same as the 438 but in stainless). I love them all. Although they are considered "pocket" guns and can very comfortably be carried as such, I carry them all in ISW holsters (not all at the same time...LOL). I use my pockets for the usual things like a pocket knife, keys, change, etc. The Seecamp is the only one of the 3 that I will occasionally pocket carry because it is considerably smaller than the others. I also have the Beretta 950 BS Jetfire that I will pocket carry because it's about the same size as the Seecamp. They both just disappear in the pocket. But whenever I do pocket carry, it is the only thing that I will have in that pocket. Great review, thanks for posting.

Ah, the Beretta 950 BS Jetfire, still on my wish-list! Indeed it's hard to beat the Seecamp for actual pocket carrying ease. Thanks for watching and thanks for all the detail on your mini arsenal. ;-) Don't forget to like, share and subscribe. I know pocket guns aren't for range use, but it would have been nice to see kick & shooting comfort get measured. Those .380s hurt, and I didn't like shooting my uncle's LCP much. If you're going to carry a weapon you depend your life on, you need have practice with it, but if it's a pain to shoot, you're not going to go out of your way to practice much. That's why I personally decided on the .32s for pocket carry, despite ammunition being fairly more expensive. Other than that, I really like this review. I really like the comfort of your voice. Made it relaxing to watch, and the mathematical calculations you did were amusing. It was defintely between the Tomcat & Seecamp when I was shopping. 👍🏼👍🏼

You bring up a very good point. I intend to do an updated pocket gun comparison and I'll keep your suggestion in mind. Indeed, the small square grips on the LCP provide for an unpleasant experience. I added a Hogue grip sleeve to mine just for that reason, but the 380 still gives a pounding. Thanks for watching and thanks for the suggestion. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe. Thanks for doing the spreadsheet analysis. I have my eye on a Seecamp 380. I have other 380 options including a Beretta 85BB and a Sig P230 (closer to the PPK). Both can be pocket carried but are larger/heavier than the Seecamp.
@mickmacstabletopreviews8466
Very nice. If you can fine a 380 Seecamp you like, it would be a good choice. Personally, the recoil of the Seecamp 380 is too harsh for me which is why I prefer the 32. By the way, 32 ammo for the Seecamp 32 is becoming more available today. (See Episode #202310) Also, you might check out my review of the SIG 230 at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EeETWzpM7fY.html if you can. Great gun. I also reviewed the SIG 232 which is my EDC. (see Episode #202209). Thanks for watching. If you haven't already, I hope you'll check out my other "Mick Mac" Tabletop Review videos on RU-vid.

As a new subscriber, I am only a handful of videos into your work. Not sure if you've covered it yet, but the Polish arsenal 11 (Radom) P-64 is a fantastic pocket carry option. It's chambered in 9x18 Makarov. All steel, comes factory pre-melted, DA / SA, fixed barrel direct blowback, definitely inspired by the Walther PP, 6 + 1 capacity (single stack magazine). As such, it's only 1" thick. The bluing on mine is exceptional. I didn't like the plastic grips (the seam on the backstrap where the two pieces come together had a little bite) so I replaced them with a beautiful set of CNCd French walnut ones. I carried this for about a year, until I retired it from the rotation in favor of a Beretta 3032 Tomcat Covert, a purpose-bought gun I picked up just to carry.

Thank you for amazing clean language professional review sir What do you really think about the beretta? I really like it simply because yiu don’t have to rack it and it is ready to go. Please tell me if it is going to last me!! I don’t have lots of money for trial and error. Abd I don’t like to carry my current H and K sk 30 that I love but I don’t like it’s size and the fact that I have to rack it when I’m in a situation that I don’t have enough time to rack it, Thank you
@mickmacstabletopreviews8466
In my opinion, if you want a 32 for carry, the Beretta 3032 "Tomcat" is a very popular pistol for the reasons you mention. It is easy to load, the 32 is very easy to shoot, its very well made and will probably last beyond your lifetime. You could get something cheaper, but it would be difficult to do better -- given what you are asking for. Thanks for watching. I own at least one of each of these, except the Ruger because I sold my LCP2 when I got my Seecamps. I would point out the S&W is much more pocket friendly with the old-school wood round butt grips (I love'em!) AND it is considered the most reliable pistol by many for decades. I personal favorite at the range is any of my old S&W pistols or the Kimber .380 (every-single-person that has shot this one LOVES it)....but to carry it is the Seecamp. You cannot beat the size of the Seecamp imho. The Tomcats and Bobcats I have are fun, but too fat to carry in my pocket with any comfort...accurate as hell too (snagged one with a laser years ago from CA no less...such fun in .22)

Yeah, no doubt those S&W revolvers are under rated. No fuss and reliable. And the Kimber 380 and Seecamp do indeed remain at the top of the list for me. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I currently own and carry a Beretta Tomcat Inox and an S&W 638. I have owned and carried a Seecamp. I sold the Seecamp because I could not get a grip on such a tiny gun in a pocket or (ankle) holster. I have no problem with any other findings in this video, but as far as I was concerned, the diminutive size of the Seecamp was a deal breaker.
@mickmacstabletopreviews8466

I understand about the Seecamp's size. I find that I'm still more likely to slip it into my pocket because of its ease of carry, but I dread drawing and firing it. @mickmacstabletopreviews8466
@mickmacstabletopreviews8466 2 года назад
Basically the SIG P290 was replaced by the P365 in 2017, so I just referred to the P365. Personally, I sort of liked the P290 --- nice gun. But it was more squared-off and bulky than the SIG P230 which I prefer but didn't reference either because at the time I didn't own one. I know, I really need to do an update of the pocket gun comparison video. I would predict a very different outcome today. Thanks for watching and don't forget to like, share and subscribe. @InsanelyGhostly
@InsanelyGhostly 2 года назад
You didn’t include those others because they are not pocket guns and neither is a p365 it’s not a pocket pistol
@mickmacstabletopreviews8466
@mickmacstabletopreviews8466 2 года назад
Well, while that may be true for the SIG 365, the Kahr CW at 4.8 inches in length and weighing 11.4 oz would certainly fall into the "pocket size" category. And I would say the same for the S&W Bodyguard 380, SIG P238, and Colt Mustang (all at about 5.25 inches in length). Even the Glock 42 is only 5.75 inches and 15.87 oz. So, no, that was not the reason I didn't include them. I just didn't have any of them at that time. I agree, I personally wouldn't try to pocket carry the SIG 265 anymore than the Walther PPK, but I know people who do pocket carry these larger guns. I have a friend who has pocket carried his Kimber Micro 9 for years, but he's a big guy and it works for him. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
