The Pocket Ranch is a very healthy ranch and home to all types of wildlife. Water availability and quality is of great importance to a healthy environment. The ranch consists of 24 named springs, 30 active ponds plus numerous seeps throughout. Butte Creek runs through the ranch and is a healthy perennial fish bearing stream that has a large hatch of stoneflies during the spring and early summer.
