Learn how to set up your PocketPiano with this easy guide!
- Connect the piano modules
- Press the first key for 2 seconds
- Press the pedal for two seconds
- Open GarageBand
- Click on Settings
- Scroll down and click on Advanced
- Keep Run in Background activated
- Scroll down and click on Bluetooth MIDI devices
- Make sure that there are no other Bluetooth devices connected
- Click on your PocketPiano and your foot Pedal to connect them
- Connect the speaker or headphones to the phone
- To switch off: click again to disconnect them and the piano will turn off in 5 minutes
Enjoy limitless music!

Can you use it via wired mode? Or at least while charing for longer sessions? This is my dream digital piano btw, that i hoped for a literal decade somebody would make... and finally it's here.

Yes, you can use it while charging :) We are working on making it wired.

Looks AMAZING! And if my favorite pianist, Jordan Rudess, endorses it, I know it HAS to be good! Oh, wait, it isn’t ACTUALLY “available” for sale. There is no pricing or ordering information whatsoever on the web site. I needed this “yesterday”… Oh, wait, it’s not actually all-encompassed in a “backpack”, because you have to have external devices to use it? And the worst; you have to sync it with an external sound source; something as janky as GARAGE BAND to even make any sound? Not even one single little practice piano sound chip internally to practice or compose with? I have to use, at a minimum, a sketchy Apple product, such as an iPhone that, at any time Apple wants to, the company will render the device obsolete and non-functional, due to an inevitable iOS update or similar, which will then suddenly and without warning rob me of my ability to use this instrument? And then you’re going to tell me I have to use DONGLES OR ADAPTERS TO CONNECT TO AN APPLE DEVICE?! I don’t think so, guys! That blew it for me right there! You had my money, but apparently you aren’t actually selling them, and if its usage depends on an Apple product that has INTENTIONALLY BUILT-IN ENGINEERED OBSOLESCENCE, I’ll have NO part of it. Prove me wrong, guys! Tell me it has at least one internal piano tone, or that at least something OTHER than an Apple or Android product or an external phone, tablet, or computer of any kind can be used to generate tones; and WITHOUT INEVITABLE BLUETOOTH OR OTHER CONNECTIVITY *TIME LAG*. It presently appears that’s not the case. I am a PRO pianist; a FULL TIME WORKING MUSICIAN. I don’t need gimmicky toys. I need REAL PROFESSIONAL INSTRUMENTS… You “had me at hello”, but then LOST me at “Apple” (or any third-party device)… 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😞😞😞

We are on production right now. It has Ivory sounds insane, you don’t need any apple or Android. It is ble midi so you still can use it like that. All the best

All excellent points, Mr. I hope the PP people hear your very valid points. Too frustrating to want to play and be plagued by connectivity issues that will undoubtedly happen with, apps, licensing, software, etc.

The newer version that is to be released this year is exciting, for sure. If the product is more self contained, i.e., loaded with software and greater key depth like a real piano, then it truly could be simply plug (in), and play. No peripherals needed. That could truly be a great product.
