POCO X6 and X6 Pro: Few Upgrades, One Slight Issue | Watch Before U Buy. 

I've bought the X6 Pro, removed the bloatware with Universal Android Debloater, changed the OEM apps with third party open source apps like for gallery, wallpaper, video player ect. Use dns.adguard as Private DNS and disabled the msa. Even though there's no night mode on the phone setting most apps can be set to dark mode on the apps setting itself. The app drawer background can be set to dark mode too in the App drawer setting. I turned off the App Vault too. So far not a single ads problem.

I don't understand why people opt-in to everything when they set up their devices. My Poco X6 Pro has zero ads, I didn't use any debloater or script, didn't follow any guide. I just used my brain to opt-out at setup. Just read the license agreements, the checkmarks specially, see if they're optional, opt-out of everything 'personalization'. Don't enable Carousel Wallpapers (that should be obvious from the warnings).

absolutely incredible price for x6 pro. if i were looking for a phone, i would be probably choose x6 pro. highly recommend

Really love the new Poco phones. Definitely one of the best value for money phones out there. I have the F5. Im set for 3 years. Now,I know there are bloatwares out there,but u can uninstall those. But the total package that ur getting with the price is really amazing.

I have a poco x6 and cannot find a magnetic 360 degree full bodied cover case. The poco x6 pro has availability. If i buy a cover meant for the pro will it fit the x6? Im thinking probably not as they are different in size and headjack. Please advise!

If I am looking for a normal usage of social media on facebook, instagram, whatsapp, play light games. Phototaking and picture not high priority. Would you recommend Poco X6 Pro or Poco F5?

Impressive to see poco x6 pro using fast ram and especially ufs4.0 which u seldom see even in flagships. Shame about the ads…

Those ads can be disabled or make them appear less than usual.. just turn off receive recommendations of miui apps,let's say for example file manager.. go to settings and turn off recommendations.. also,turning off ads service from settings>password and security>ads service then turn it off.. hope it helps..

The ads can be turned off once you spend enough with the phone itself. I've the same problem and I get rid of them.

I feel that if have a choice better get a phone without Ads. I have Poco F5 and F3, the experience is better on F5 as without Ads.

Are you able to completely disable adverts, as you can with existing Poco phones? I.e. switching off MSA, and all recommendation settings in system apps. A phone with permanent ads, is a non-starter for me.

Thank goodness my Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium has no Ads. I suppose because it's using HyperOS (China) and not Global Version. So the baked in Ads don't activate because I'm not in mainland China physically.

The last great Poco phone was the legendary Poco F1. Heck, some people is still using this true flagship killer of the past until today, with custom ROM, replaced batteries and Gcam. Until today, can't really find Poco phones as good as the first one. Sigh.

The poco X6 pro has different image results than the poco X6 and that is because the poco X6 pro has a different chipsets. the chipsets are responsible for taking photos.

I just ordered the X6 pro 8/256gb last night. I got it for $270

I have seen reviews, and the PRO, though it uses the exact same cameras, takes much better pictures in many situations, than the non-pro model, due to the more powerful MediaTek processor. Now, that being said, while this brand is a good value, where they fall apart is the length of GUARNTEED OS and security update, number of years, AND they break easily just watch some videos and see how poor the glass is, the whole phone will fold in half easily too and the IP rating is lower. Also, as some have pointed out, they did not upgrade to the more preferred Sony cameras, because they probably have a warehouse full of these outdated parts.

Just hold on to that specific MIUi app setting go down select "restrict data usage" you're good to go. No ADS
