I missed LYS day but I had to get the kit for the tee. OH MY GOODNESS TO THAT BOOK!!! Pam, that's a treasure. I would have loved that for Tuck. All the best, Kimberly
I bought the Kokon kit for the Kitation shawl. I have been wanting to try the Kokon so I will gladly use it for something else. Not a problem. And, now I have an excuse for procrastinating.
I was at the Monterey wharfs years ago and bought a tray of small fish to feed the seals and sea lions. As I was walking on the wharf I was dive-bombed by a pelican and the fish went flying! It was actually scary to have that big bird coming right at me. Also, there were a number of boats anchored out in the harbor that were sunning spots for the seals and sea lions. It was fascinating to see them climb on board, but I wouldn’t have wanted to own one of those boats.
Oh my goodness, that is scary! I’m amazed at how comfortable the seals and sea lions were. I couldn’t agree more though. Fun to see as a spectator but wouldn’t wouldn’t want to own one of those boats.
Pam, ChiaoGoo makes a square ruler that is full of information on one side is the knitting needle conversion chart for metric, UK, and Canada and on the other side has the same chart for all the crochet hook conversions letters and numbers plus a yarn chart type and gauge. You might like one of these to have both needle charts at a glance. I find it a very valuable tool. It an all in one tool a ruler and a gauge slot to count stitches. You book will be darling when its complete.
