My parents divorced when I was 8 months old and my dad moved to Buena Park super close to Knotts, so my whole childhood we had annual passes to Knotts and went there pretty much every weekend for like 15 years straight. I was JUST telling my girlfriend about the soapbox racers
I listened to this episode on my morning walk and now I'm watching the video version because I need to squeeze every ounce of content out of this goddamn podcast!
Okay, so Boomerang at Knott's is the exact same roller coaster that Eric Bauza is describing in his episode when he's talking about The Bat at Canada's Wonderland. He described it as "looking like a bat" which isn't really accurate... I think it's supposed to be mimicking the movements of a bat. Anyway, they're the same roller coaster and I'm only saying this because Scott seemed intrigued when Eric said it looked like "a bat". It's a fun coaster but not for everyone. It always has a long line and it's a very short ride. I like it though!
