This is but one of the strongest cases for the myth of free will. People think they have it, but they don't. Realizing people have no free will allows you to attempt to think about their lives that they did not control. It doesn't mean nobody can be held responsible for what they do (this is a popular slippery slope fallacy that is often used for those who think free will is a thing).

I'm sure the car salesman hired to carry out the hit had to ponder internally, "What exactly is it about me that makes me look like a hitman?" Kudos to him for remaining cool enough to not give away the game, and contact the police, instead. I probably would have blurted out, "Wtf?? ...NO." Which would have only allowed them to contact someone else, who might have actually followed through...and made it harder for the police to track.

@KaarinaKimdaly 8 месяцев назад
I often fail to find the humor in these type situations. I do have a sense of humor but garnering a steady audience by ridiculing criminals with major major character flaws like hubris, that seems almost criminal in itself as it focuses people on schadenfreude and the enjoyment of what are really tragic situations of pain, of callous criminality, of evil. I think it is evidence, sometimes, of people wanting to just look down on fools, like,. "Ha ha ha, we would never be implicable in any wrongdoing." But consider the Stanley Milgram experiments and what happened at Abu Ghraib. . . And simply consider the very common tendency to project, which is more common than most people realize. This is scary shit.

She went through 3 trials and was finally sent to prison about 5-6 yrs ago and I don't think she'll get out for another 10 yrs. She spent all that time waiting for what turned out to be a conviction, which must weighed on her. On house arrest, she had a kid that she won't be raising (thank God) What a long drawn out wreck. Hey Zena! 👋 What are you up to today, sis? 🤗 I hope all is well. I'm doing OK, just very 🥱 how is your mom doing? Hope she's having a good day today. ❤ lol. My son wants me to play a video game with him. He got a new game and wants to try it out with me, before he plays with his friends. I'm kind of like his Gaming Test Dummy! 🤣 He beats me 99% of the time. 🤨 OK, gotta bounce 🐇 many hugs to you and Mom! 🤗✌️☘️⚘️🌹🌻🌹💐💐💐

@@zenawarrior7442 Hey Zena! 🤗 Great to hear from you! ❤ Glad you're doing OK. Wish your mom was doing better, too. Yeah, even when we do our best, sometimes we think it's not enough. It is, though. It's everything. Anything we do for someone, out of love, is a blessing to them, and so, we are blessed also. ❤ Hang tough, Sis. I know you will. 😉 I'm OK. Just got a bug, like the flu, i just can't seem to shake. I know it could be worse, so not worrying about it. Haven't seen thar rascally 🐰 anywhere since that time I told you. But, I'm not looking for her. 🤣 She probably stopped going to the other channel I found her on, way back when. Afraid I'll 'talk' to her again. 🧟 lol. OR both of us will! 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️ Nah, waste of time. 😂 So, what have you been up to? Hope we can be online at the same time one of these days. ❤💙 Hope you and Mom have a great day today. Sending prayers and hugs, as always. See you soon, my friend. 🥰⚘️🍀🌹💐🍻

@@zenawarrior7442 Hey Sis! ~hugz~ Glad I found this! 🤗 Hope you're having a good weekend! I'm just waiting for tonight's football game. I'll be yelling at the TV the whole time in my Chiefs get up! 🤣 I love 🏈 Do you? Sorry to hear you're mom wasn't doing so well. I don't know the 'specifics' but I'm guessing mom doesn't mean to take things out on you. Still, it does make it more difficult caring for her. With my mom, it was more physically draining, because I had health problems. Her mood was always good, but she was very tired. I hope you have someone helping you. It's hard caring for someone by yourself, this I know. ❤ You're a wonderful daughter, your mom must have done something very right! ❤❤ I'm really glad to know you. You're a good friend and a great sister! Way better than my bio-sister! 🤣💯 Bio-sis is (🤬🤣😇👹😤🤡) all at the same time! Drives me nuts, but I love her, anyway. Just don't see her very often. 😁😉 lol. I really hope you're having a good day. Mom too. Prayers and hugs to you both. 🙏🏻❤

There are 2 things that are different from what I know about the original story: 1. I don't remember the 'open relationship' part between Ira and his wife; I just remember hearing a recording of his wife yelling at Ira on being on vacation with his mistress while pretending to be somewhere else 2. For those fake assault pictures, I remember the cops supposedly hired big time Hollywood artists (from some famous movie) and they were gloating over it on Dateline or 48 Hours.

He needs to be locked up for life…to go to jail once for trying to kill your spouse, and when getting out of jail he tries again…insane. And what was his sister thinking, especially since she was a lawyer. Hopefully their parents are not alive because that would break their hearts.
