for the yellow boss bug - that idiot won't phase if he's not in the open space. So, if he doesn't want to phase, mostly when he spawns in the southern part of the harvest area, just run a few screens away from him, wait a few seconds and then go back in a scuh direction that you come from open space. In most cases the boss will go to you and meet you somewhere in the open space. Then just damage him little bit and he should phase.
to clarify. it's not a bug. yellow boss usually have chain of pouncing skills which cause bleeding. we must allow him to finish the chain then he will phase.
I wish GGG stopped doing invulnerable stages for the bosses, like that act 4 boss having an invulnerable state is connected to the beast hearts therefore is ok, but these guys having an invulnerable stage is beyond stupid, like let me one-shot those bastards, that was the whole point to have a 1bil dps build... at least do it like drox, it retreats into taking reduced damage state, I can deal with that, it is not that annoying. but invulnerable state?
I have been running harvest the last 3 leagues non stop for over 500h each league. In my opinion u shall not focus on altars and just kill the packs on your way to the harvest. You might get a little more juice bur there are diminishing returns on stacking quality, while you cant add any more packsize, and the extra 2-3 mins per map you spend clearing for altars u could just run another map, except if u are a bow build with 300+movement and u average less than a death per hour.
I've been doing crop rotation for a while now and i have mixed feelings about it. To get good value out of the horned of awakening you need to invest, i sellf farm 8 mod dunes and run those 42%pack size min, run to the boss and then clear the map for altars, if the harvest layout is bad (2 non yellow and rest yellow, i dont even bother running it). I felt that you need at minimum 4 non yellow crops for yellow crop to give a decent amount. Also this strat ks big big rng, you have 70% chance to not wilt crops but i have gotten some unlucky streaks that feel awful. You need to do a big sample to make it worth while. You also need a strong build to run 8mod maps with so much increased mod effect so you dont keep dying and lowering your d/hr.
yellow boss - you go on a little open area then wait him to show up and just dodge its dash attack. when doing this make sure when u dodge ur as close as the end point of dash attack it will phase most of the time, if not just repeat. hope this helps
you can block the red one if you now about it, you don't then you go to the red one klick it just one time not two very important and go to the blue first to upgrade your yellow juice
Thank you for not being a typical streamer and lying about the strat. Oh you always get 5 div per run on perfect runs and show perfect runs 6 different times when in reality it would be a lot more inconsistent then just perfect runs for days. I usually don't do exactly the same start cause most streamers lie about the actual consistency of the farm. But I feel I can actually trust you when it comes to stuff I don't know. Although this is a strat I no well and do often along with essence farming as I'm a profit crafter.
Um, if you have the crop setup you had in that map, with 2 purple vs 6 blue, you would want to start with the 2 purple, so that every time a blue procs to upgrade it would proc on the yellow altars instead of the 2 purple altars. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it rolls between the possible other colored plots, then rolls to upgrade, so by reducing the color options for the 3 attempts on blue altars to being purely yellow it should increase profits. Also he doesn't phase if he's to close to a wall, thats all that dictates if he goes into tower mode, you just have to drag him away from the walls/barricades.
Not sure about your situation but i definitely saw it this league, harvest blue crops, it upgrades both purple and yellow together. It is just a game of chances. Had one time both purple and yellow upgrade to T4 plants this league.
Love the Scarab rework so much! Crop Rotation never before felt good or reliable enough compared to regular Harvest farming before, but now with Aw. Scarab to get Imbued Harvests, it feels more consistent and juicy than ever! Also love the Scarabs revolving around forcing bosses to spawn, be it in Harvest, Delirium, Ultimatum or Breach (nobody likes Legion General though...) ;) All in all, I really enjoy the League 3.24 not for Necropolis, but for the crashed market and all the new farming strats that weren't as much of a thing before! Looking forward to where this leads coming 3.25 (I expect less market crashing, nerfs, adjustments and a Tier 17 rework or overwhaul, it's too much right now as is). edit: The Harvest Bosses, especially Yellow, are supposingly bugging out by being too close to walls or too hyperfocused on the player with their attack loop. Breaking the loop or repositioning the boss (by quitting out of the Grove or moving away far enough) supposingly help. I tried these methods, and they seem to work well enough to get a buggy boss unstuck :p
@@Aezthet1C I never felt comfortable paying many divines to juice my strats up before, but now I can and don't even feel bad about it! Thank Chris Wilson for removing the thousands of juicing methods used before 3.24 =)
One thing on Crop Rotation. It says it HAS A CHANCE to upgrade the plants of a different color. It is not 100% chance so this is why sometimes the plots seems to not update.
Great explanation, thanks! Even your "unlucky" 2nd map you basically broke even on scarab cost, which is awesome to see. Curious as to how well this strat does without the imbued scarabs as a more early league option, as I know I'm a broke boy early league and can't afford to put 100c into each map during the first week-ish. I assume it's still good, but your 60/40 gambles are more like 10/90s and therefore just play to the safe option and just be happy with less lifeforce.
Harvest is pretty profitable early league. I used a straight up quant atlas map with harvest scarab + harvest scarab of doubling + 2 quant frags and was able to farm up for a mageblood.
Yeah you are more likely to just send the 60/40 when you have more stable income. Until then you always take the safer line to profit and run right. I just worry with how strong harvest is now that it might get nerfed in the future. I hope it doesnt cause its super fun but well see!
Overall it's consistent, my highest was 30k Juice (20k yellow), and my lowest was like 200 ( got 8/8 yellow plots😢). I usually do a couple of tier 17 maps with scarab that corrupts maps to stock 8mod jungle valleys
In the last league, the yellow boss would often get stuck in the "rooted" phase, and there was no way of breaking it, so it would just spawn mobs endlessly, and you would never get to kill it for the loot. In this league, at least that doesn't happen, but you do have to kite it around sometimes, for it to phase into "rooted". This and the UI not updating? Harvest is buggy, yo.
can you please send your build pob? What is the distinctive feature of your build? is it a tank? have good clear map power? Is it a bosser? Is it only for maps?
hey travic dad_keem from chat, the yellow boss wont phase when its near a collidable obstacle suck as a wall or the sacred grove portal, you need to pull him to the middle of the map most times or the center of a harvest plot for the phase to trigger
On the third map, when you clicked once on the yellow 1 time it updated the text but it also locked the crop so it could not upgrade anymore, even though you could still do the others it would not get higher levels
i had been under the impression that crop rotation would only upgrade a tier 1 to tier 2 when you hit a tier 1 off color, and a tier 2 to tier 3 when you hit a tier 2 off color, is that not the case? or are you basically making juicy tier 3 on the regular?
tier system is a bit weird i don't have clear picture but sometime I upgrade from all gray/white name to 1-3 light blue name and then 1 light blue name to 4-6 light blue name I once get it up to 10-12 light blue without orange name but most of the time after I get up to 7+ light blue name appear and if I manage to upgrade it again it most likely go orange name but crop rotation do not guaranteed upgrade tho and most of the time average yellow plant come from big hit that crop do not hilt on click and it ramp up the yellow with 110quant+ and quant altar I got average 6k per map if lucky I got 25k in 1 map but that's like 1/10 never get more than 30k even once also sometime crop upgrade but light blue name does not appear and I got white name instead lol so I don't know how tier really work

Like do I „f5“ by going out to just visually update or to also update the game so it also spits out the right updated numbers and type it of monsters?
@@thedevolis Walk out of the harvest back to the map then back into the harvest if you think it didnt update. Or just goto town and come back it always updates when yo goto the map and come back
@@sherrinjo Chronic did a couple hundred map test and found out the 1 node for reducing yellows helped to make sure you only had 1 or 2 yellow plants to giga juice up.
i have the same atlas and i am using t16 8 mod jungle valley. i am using same scarabs. i always get only 6 crops in the sacred grove. i got 6 in last 5 maps. in your case you even have 10. what might i be doing wrong?
They are currently .9-1 div each on PC and still very valuable to run, it really comes down to the price of yellow per divine on your market which sadly I cannot answer. But if the life force for yellow is 1 div per 4000 or better then its absolutely worth it
The UI bug has been there since original Harvest league, and I don't understand why GGG hasn't fixed it. You can still tell the actual numbers by the plant models, and the tier 3 plants of blue and yellow are fairly visible, but purple is hard to see. Boss plants are very big and clearly visible.
I love the scarab rework this league, so much more than the league mechanic. I personally hate the downside of the blue altars so i just went for red since chaos orb is worth something this league. Ran harvest with the double & at least 1 T4 plant, was super good and lesser investment per map compare to the awakening scarab. The one thing i dislike about harvest is the T4 boss, especially the yellow boss, so annoying to deal with. Also this league due to scarab rework & back to basic, i feel like 8mod map is very easy to get, personally farming 8mod map now and have 1000+ 8mod map in stock(ping pong between dunes & toxic sewer) (jungle valley might worth more but waste pool have a not so good T17 map). Save time for the need to buy chisel, alchemy or vaal orb and waste some map since it turns into other map.

ive been running deli/ritual/beyond anarchy sb for a little bit not. literally no issues with altars. i think what people might be forgetting is that they re-balanced altars to make each map have a unique amount of altars to make the game less consistent ie: most maps spawn few altar and few maps spawn ALOT of altars, making altars effectively a jackpot system. this isnt something you'll observer over a course of even 100 maps, specially if you arent specifically looking for it and recording results.
By the way sometimes you have to back track to the beginning to get all of your altars. And yes, this has been my favorite strategy last league and this league. But this league it's miles better with that new scarab

yo, thanks for explaining crop rotation, I hadnt touched it yet =), one thing tho, when u see altars u dont like, u should click minions, sometimes u get altars from the mob that spawns from the previous altar
Ty for the simpler explanation :) trying it without the awakening scarab at first to learn the ropes. ps: legion seemed to eat altars the most when i ran harvest before w/o crop rotation (compared on same map (dunes)with different content popping in ( could be a variance thing tho)
Well u dont need awakening scarab, sure juice drop not gonna be as crazy as using awakened but still can get out with 3k+ juice if u got good plant setup and some plant not wilted (15% from atlas iirc),

for the last map - after you clicked the yellow one, it doesn't upgrade anymore even if you run other colors. you should click second time and run it, to upgrade purples. second note, even if the ui is not updated, you can easy spot the yellow tier3 plants, as they are "glowing" so you can easy figure out that there are tier3
