This community is insane. From day one 'till today. The build guides, trading sites and macros, the wiki, pob, filterblade, university, and now a leveling overlay. So much help, but I still suck at the game
Yet another app... The problem is that GGG wants to make an advance and complex game (Europa Universalis alike) but at the same time they want PoE to be a hack'n'slash in the spirit of diablo II. But the thing is... EU got features that help player take care of those complex systems, but because game like diablo II wouldn't need those - GGG don't want to implement them on their own. So the natural response of the community are additional apps. Chriss could really make up his mind. Either go into complexity and thus follow the need of additional features and UI's (that apps are doing right now) or go more into the hach'n'slash genre where those features aren't needed in the first place. I am tired of that yet-another-app race.
As someone who now from constant leveling knows all the passive point quests (not from the top of my head but as muscle memory) I would have LOVED to have a tool like this at the start
when I open the settings menu I DO NOT have a leveling tracker option. Also my book icon appears at the top with the gear icon, not near the xp bar... and also, I DON'T have the abilities/skills thing you showed in this video. I've got my character selected, but not the way you did, it almost feels like my tool is different from yours

As someone who has been in the game and community for a decade or more, you need to add a disclaimer to this video. While this is a SUPER cool addon and something that every other game has, GGG is very particular about stuff like this and has been known to ban people without warning for using such tools. Just a heads up!
I put a disclaimer in the Infobox before people can download it. Yes GGG never state something, so you can get banned for any reason while you use any tool.
I just can’t seem to get it work. Are the maps shown for the entrances even correct and up to date? How I’m supposed to read these „maps“, when there are multiple paths and the waypoints are always in different order?
ok so when i run the script and open the game i cant see it in top left corner and when i alt tab and mouse over the L icon it disappears and also the script gets deleted in extracted folder. is anyone elese having this issue?
I did play PoE a LOT before the 2.0 and since then and the adding of acts 5-10 I maybe did 4 or 5 levelings, everytime with a written guide, It was annoying. I'll try this tool and maybe I'll have fun again :)
When I try to click the book button on the bottom right after importing the route, it still tells me there is no imported guide, do you know what might be the problem?
@@DERxROCKSTAR i clicked generate guide the put my build on the website clicked export guide then went back into the game clicked import guide it said success but then when i click the book icon it says no imported guide
@@DERxROCKSTAR Yeah, that what I do, I export it from the website then pressing "import guide" it gives a popup "Success" and when I try to press book it tells me no imported guide. However if I press generate guide it opens up my guide on a web page.
@@DERxROCKSTAR - Why not have it import from the website on first use of the overlay? Then people can adjust as needed, but have it ready to use for those who don't know you need to import something.
You can connect the build you want to use to the leveling guide and it will remind you which gems you can pick up or buy when leveling, but unfortunately the tree you have to do yourself by screenshooting different paths of the tree of the builds at use, at different stages. There are some pre-made builds tho. Personally I don’t get this feature as it’s too much work to screenshot different paths, especially as you have to remember how many points you need/can use for each area/Act. It’s easier to just open PoB on a second screen or tablet. I don’t know if it’s what you mean?
That auto search is so good, man im gona use it, it would have made my first 2 tries at the game so much fun (it took me like 3 leagues to actually understand this game lol)
Cool tool, but im not sure if i really need this much help, but i saw some tips in this tool, which was really helpful for example the portal placements or logouts, ty for this informative video 👍
This is proof how PoE is an alpha game. They should make a tutorial like this inside the game... and also, an integration to PoB to auto-distribute skills based on your progression configured. People spend much time learning the game instead of playing it.

Bro, I am seeing this everywhere, but HOW THE FUCK DO YOU INSTALL THIS? I know I'm not the only person who doesn't use github on a daily basis. Everywhere this is posted on youtube and on reddit, people are asking "okay, how do i download it and getting it running on my computer?" and no one answers.
Lets just hope there is an expert version for this macro, cuz i cba changing most of the text and pointers. All i need is to remember gems technically and the pile of extra text is in the way imo. As a melee i swear i've heen playing this game for years and i still forget a gem here and there. It's like only after the submerged waypoint and the coast, you have 3-6 gems you need. War banner, blood and sand, frost blink, "sometimes steal skin", chance to bleed if you marauder. You also need two steal rings, an int amulet if you don't want to waste passives anywhere, rustic sash, search for boots search for weapon, search for all possible colors.... holy all of that at level 4 😂
Wasn't particularly interested until the autohighlight gems feature, that's pretty awesome. I'd honestly rather have a version that just did that without the rest of the stuff. Can you cut out bits of the guide you don't want so it just shows the parts you want a reminder on?
ok and how will GGG know that you are doing this with AHK script ? they are monitoring 4378578325432472362 actions per second from all characters in the same time ? I mean are you really serious ?
Careful with such things. Years ago they banned some people who god knows what, including me, among many. It is hard to say where they will decide to draw a line each time and who will wake up, miss his favorite cereal and go to work that day with shitty mood.... And no excuses or explanations helped, account worth over £1000 down the drain. And I used a script which showed mobs and left loot(dots) on mini map, because at the time I was noob and wanted to kill every mob and check every drop. Some got banned for other reasons. Usually people use this and similar things, like auto flasks, but do not openly advertise it or share screen shots.
use tools which read game memory, and simple reminder, its different things. ofc you will be banned if you dont know how to use it, its not a simple "run - double click"
