Only way I get to experience PoE crafting, watching someone else do it.

Most of the time it's super hard to stay interested in such a long crafting video in poe since it's so repetitive and painful when you brick, but I feel like you're an exception to that. Didn't skip a second forward, you kept me entertained the whole way through even though I knew mostly what was coming the whole time. 10/10 vid, educational and a showcase of an insane craft. GG!

Imagine someone non-familiar with PoE watching part of this video where streamer turns two identical pairs of boots into the same one pair for some reason. For 5 minutes straight. Would definitely make its way into the list of most tough questions existed.

Did the math using average numbers (without any modifiers applied) The average damage output for the Int Mod totals out at about 430 additional lightning, while the accuracy Mod came out with an average of 63 damage. Totaling out at almost 500 additional lightning dmg with no modifications whatsoever, these boots are nutty.

If I‘ve learned anything from this video, it‘s that recombobulators are pog.

Imagine spending like 100 ex on boots, and dont have 30% quali on them.

Hey Empy! Loved the craft, but when you were trying to hit the veiled Aisling on suffices cannot be changed, after getting the crit mod on the item again, couldn’t you just annul with the multimod/prefixes/suffixes can’t be changed? You can’t annul elusive, int essence nor int stacking mod so it’s a 1/2 to hit the prefixes can’t be changed since you can’t annul the multimod with suffixes can’t be changed. And if you hit it, you save the exalts from recrafting the mods and just craft on Cannot Roll Attack mods. Just some food for thought, awesome craft!

For context these boots gave empy 63 flat lightning damage (and a bit of int but that was achievable). Compared to the loss of action speed this was probably a 5% dmg increase. Cool boots but definitely a lot better on an acc stacking zerker

That is a crazy pair of boots.

He should have crafted the same suffix on both the sorc boots and the stormrider boots before recombining, gives a higher chance to get both mods on the result. Based on the reddit thread he mentioned, it would have given him a 35% chance to get all 3 mods, and he could just remove the crafted mod, 10% to only choose 1 mod and fail, and 55% to choose 2 mods, of which he has a 1 in 6 chance to select the correct mods. Combining only two mods together only gives you a 33% chance to succeed.

Nice crafting, time to yolo orb of dominance :D jk btw, I think boots like the one at 11:15 (it's rare but only has essence int as a mod after annul) doesn't need "suffix cannot be changed -> scour" step since recomb will turn into magic when combined if it can be magic. Though 2ex isn't a huge deal in the whole crafting process.

maybe you dont know but you dont have to wait for it to finish the recombinator animation you can just take the item out just like in diablo 2 you would remove the horadic staff before it finishes

The mod Cannot roll attack in Aisling step was to protect the sentinel mod? If not why not just bench crafted a random suffix to save 1ex?

I've used the same method on crafting a lot of gear but it seems you are doing it differently which I don't know if it's the best idea, the reddit post in which the guy explains how recombinator's work explain that in order to have the highest chances to get the mods is ( will use the example from this video), have the chicken boots with 1 mod, the sorc boots with 1 mod and craft a third same suffix on both (whatever suffix doesnt matter) and then recombinate.

just curious as to why you needed to craft cannot roll attack mods on the aisling step instead of some other random suffix to save 1ex, aisling doesn't respect the cannot roll attack/caster metamods so another random suffix wouldve still had the aisling chance at a 1/3 edit: answered ty

Why not try to annul after reforge crit? 1/3 to save some ex(not that those are of any value)

Basically that boot base gives you 22-132 added lightning damage witht that amount of accuracy Like yes they are best in slot but seems like a lot of investment for such a low amount of added damage

Couldn't he transfer the int + damage per int mods first and then redeemer slam the correct boots instead of slamming and losing 6-7 redeemer orbs?

Is it worth to use these Boots as the base just to get this extra 20-120lightning damage? I mean u already have tons of dmg coming from ur Int. I think Flat ES would benefit this build way more.

One Question in the 3rd Crafting on removing crafted mods from prefiix/suffix/multimod to multi/can not roll attack /Suffix can not be changed ( would der a 33% anullment Safe Some Money ) instead of instant delete the mods and recraft =? i know there is massive currency but still i mean 33 % chance of hitting prefix can not be changed Would safe some For Poor crafters ? : :D

Imagine a crafting system that was available to more than 1% of the player base. Having all of those repeatable steps be multiple exalts seems silly. Even if they were 25-100c, it would make crafting more accessable, or this inflated exalt price go down.

I know this is old crafting and not very relevant, but I'm a bit confused by the essence - annul - metacraft - scour to get blue stormrider boots with Int wouldn't it be A LOT cheaper to alt spam them to get Int? a perfect essence roll is like, 3 int more than a perfect normal int roll, and even t2 int is maybe 5 int less that's a difference of what, 0.1% of your dps?
