Thanks for putting this up - it's definitely confusing. This is the version I got near the end of the game, but the other versions on youtube are some other, different mix. Very happy this is here.
To be honest, i think the fact there are multiple versions really fitting of the spiral gimmick. Especially with the new game plus mode out. But who knows that could have been a bug of some kind? Kinda doubt it though 😅
Been a Poe fan since the 90s. Then nothing new forever. Fast forward, I heard Haunted while playing AW and it took me.back. Such a rare and wonderful talent. I'm also gonna plug House of Leaves while I'm here. Get off the vids and read!
I read HoL before I even discovered Alan Wake! It’s a fun full circle thing. I played Control and the Bizarchetecture led me to read HoL, which led me to Poe and haunted brought me back to Alan Wake! I also recommend reading the novel.
Her career has been locked down for at least a decade after her label sold off the section they had her signed to. She owed three albums to a rich oil guy who wouldn’t promote her work adequately and it’s been tied up in court. So sad, she could have been a breakout star but at least she has a voice again. I love all the connections!

get into her other stuff! haunted and hello both have a lot of stuff that sounds a lot like this, although maybe steer clear of the book attached to haunted
I know new The Old Gods of Asgard tracks aren’t coming until December on streaming. Allegedly to avoid spoilers. So I’m hoping for Poe to release at the same time. However, on Poe’s official website it says the song is exclusively in the game. Though, it also says to stay tuned for news. I’m dying for more Poe.
Did you end up getting this on your first playthrough or was it after starting a new game and finishing it again? This mix is significantly different from all the other recordings I was able to find on RU-vid or how I remember this sounded on my first playthrough
This was screenrecorded directly on my PS5 during my first play through. Thankfully PlayStation has the ability to save the last 15 minutes of gameplay, then I edited the video length directly on console. There has been no alterations to the video or audio.

Hey, so, I got this version too on my first (and currently only) finished playthrough, it was on Normal, if that's what it was called. I assumed it's just what people get. If people are getting the other full versions, I didn't collect all pages, I'd usually play at low health and only heal when necessary and I never had much ammo/batteries. Saying that in case this game is like Silent Hill 2 and considers those, since difficulty and amount of times played doesn't seem to matter and it would make sense since this one sounds more "broken" I guess?
@@loosh4654These songs notably seem to play in Alan's sections only, I got the shorter, spliced version in the first noir york section, now I'm in the second part (I think it's act 9) and it played this full version
It’s not on streaming anywhere. It’s likely because of the unfortunate circumstance surrounding Poe and her old contract. The internet will explain the tragedy better than I could, but the short of it was Poe was forbidden to release music under the name Poe for years. This song was the first new song she’s released under the name poe since the album Haunted in 2000.
@@inmate7269 Can you not turn off ads for the video? Seems other people can consistently have a video show on youtube with no ads.... maybe because they set it to be so? Trying to make a buck off of you just playing the song should get you copyright striked....
