It's a defenders job to get rid*. Getting ripped isn't part of effectively doing the job 😄 Miles happily holding corn for so long was a bad idea because it festers this type of dynamic, where class A banter from him hits just as deep as a personal insult. Even how in this debate, everyone's meant to share their varying views, there was a certain vim sprinkled on when he was told to "shut up". In some minds he's kinda been the designated punching bag, so for a punching bag to punch back, people will go for the kill switch; hence going for embarrassment instead of a funnier joke. The laughter added fuel to the fire, so Poet hit a couple finishing moves thinking the pin would end Miles, but he kept kicking out and doing his own special moves until he forced a rage quit. Well played to him for keeping his composure 👏🏾, but from his side, he was just joking around with a friend; although it definitely didn't seem to be received like anything near that on Poet's side. This shouldn't have happened though, Poet didn't need to do it since he consciously acknowledged that his head was gone, but as aforementioned, the dynamic between Miles and certain fellas is set up where he's only meant to eat the jokes, so the energy/respek for him isn't equal to everyone else and this was bound to happen.
