Roo Panes returns to the Mahogany Sessions for a very special EP project which finds him exploring the inspiration and meaning behind his lyrics and features beautiful new arrangements of four songs taken from his latest album, Quiet Man.

I started crying when he was sat on the doorstep playing the guitar. There was something so beautiful, raw and simple about it. His music just gives a sense of hope and happiness. Thanks Mahogany and Roo for this beautiful video.

Roo panes is my favorite artist...his songs are the only ones I can listen to over and over again without getting tired of it....and he is a Christian 🥹. Some of his lyrics are so deep and reflect his faith.

I've literally been listening to his music everyday for over a year now, and it doesn't get old. There aren't many artists I can say that about, in fact there are only two others that I've been chronically listening to on repeat: Luke Sital-Singh and Tom Rosenthal. There's definitely something about their art that resonates deeply within us.

There is so much amazing music here on RU-vid. Life can get busy and Covid has made the last almost two years a big blur. I often have to remind myself that Roo Panes exists. When I return to his wondrous work, my heart is warmed.

Discovered Roo Panes only a few months ago. This is heart breaking and healing music at the same time. Totally fits the mood in November during a seemingly never ending pandemie. I've been listening to this set for a few weeks now. What a stunning performance all the way around -- beautifully filmed, the sound is impeccable and of course the music is supreme. The live track of Ophelia is the clear standout for me -- just perfection.
