I root for Aubrey, but she’s FLARP... Dawn and Aundrea are AMAZING... I love that Shannon has remained healthy and consistent. Her voice has really grown she sounds GREAT!
They all sound great. They all have a different sound and that's what makes them dk. Stop judging them individually they are a girl group and they sound great together. Go girls!
Shannon gave me everything I needed, way better on that verse than D.Woods, shade free on that. I need this to be on the on iTunes as an acoustic version like now!! The harmonies at the end gave me LIFE!!!
That was sooooo good I can't stop rewinding!!! Shannon is so unexpected. I'm mad she didn't do more significant singing in the early DK albums. And Dawn slays as usual! Happy to have my group back.
Aundrea Awake agreed! They always gave so many verses to D.Woods, who in my opinion shouldn't have been in the band. She was bland and didn't stand out and was just kind of there. Shannon always had it they just never gave her that chance to shine
Tommy Siro d.woods was the hidden factor in DK & that’s why they won’t ever sound the same without her. Not only did she sing on every song she did a lot of background vocals too. You have to be a newbie because you would clearly know that if you were a fan 10+ yrs ago when Making the band aired
They actually all sound amazing. All on key, showing that they grew vocally. They really had it as 4!!! And that Shannon was something special, DK4/3 era was Hers !!!
the harmonies were so tight here. much improved from the televised performance. they just make so much more sense as a foursome. no disrespect to d woods. she is doing her thing and i respect her but its like danity kane came back as how they should have been all along. dawn is such a vocal anchor for the group but i know that when i listen to a dk song i'm just waiting for aundreas part. her tone is unreal. aubrey has never looked better or performed with more conviction. and shannon... well lets just say i've always thought she was the business and i'm glad shes getting more leads. what i most like about shannon this time around is her swagger. she always killed the stage but shes got a different vibe this time around. i live in la and wasn't able to get tickets but i'm a happy fan nonetheless.
Dustin kenney Very well said. They Are much better without D. Woods. She didn't add much to the group. She was always just kind of there and did a harmony here or there but these 4 always stood out now and back in the day!
Diddy always said the girls really could sing.... From dolls to divas....Lovin' this arrangement and the chicks singin errr sangin' it are pretty cool too.....:)
I always wished that Diddy had let Dawn, Andrea, and Shannon continue as a trio. Those 3 always had a natural chemistry. Imagine the harmonies we could've gotten. I feel like if you take out Aubrey and it was just those 3, the vocals would be in point and Aubrey wouldn't sound like she's trying so hard to sing.
I got so many chills from all of them , this was slayed. Aubrey sounded better than the original version! And when Shannon sang D woods part I was shook 👑👑👑👑

I don't think it's because she is the most talented. It's because she used to not have a lot of parts, but now that D Woods is gone she does, and people are just cheering for her
They should have kept the acoustics throughout there tour, but tweaked a few things, such as Dawn and Aundrea harmonising more on the bridge.. and into the last chorus which they skipped..

Someone on another video commented she’s Flarp ... flat and sharp... I think that’s what it is... she’s so beautiful and has so much raw talent. Just needs a bit of fine tuning!
Dawn, Aundrea and Shannon simply sing, Aubrey TRIES to sing. There's a lot of insecurity there. She is the weakest vocalist, but she tries very hard. It has to be hard however when you're sitting between two naturals, and your voice may or may not measure up (depending on the day).
I love Danity Kane but they need to improve their vocals and the arrangement. I think there needs to be a leader who can take charge or else it will sound messy.
You don't have to be a producer to understand music. I studied music so I have an idea. You don't even need to study music to know when something sounds off. They have nice voices but their harmonies don't blend that well. Perhaps its because they just got back together again after not singing together for a while. But like all groups, I beliee there needs to be a leader to unite the sound. Because it seems like everyone is trying soo hard to stand out but it sounds messy. I don't know why you commented back being combative and a smh, it really isn't that serious.
guiltypleasure That wasnt combative at all...I was merely pointing out the fact that you are being very critical of a group that hasnt even performed together in 5 years. You may have a valid point and I dont wholeheartedly disagree but I dont think they need a leader. I like the fact that there are 4 distinct voices and the blend will come with time. After all, they went from 5 part harmony to 4 part so thats a big difference.
The Harmonies are not Tight sorry just facts D woods is absolutly missing. She helped them in a major way to hold the harmonies together. Sounds a little bit messy. The AOL seassion from 2008 was much better then this one.
