Great timing - poetry has been introduced in my son’s LA curriculum but he really could use some deeper lessons on it. He’s such a logical thinker so the artistic side of poetry is foreign to him.
New sub here (fellow yt homeschool mama)! I am planning on pulling together a Poetry unit over the summer and this is so helpful! Love the notebooks you made.
What binder/binding do you use?! 😅 I have a proclick and I love it however I cannot find binding that holds more than 85-95 pages at a time 🙄😬 I'm curious if you have found any that hold more than that? Also what printer do you use? 😂 your pages look so crisp! That's my favorite baha I have an ecotank and love it however for some reason when I attempt to print front and back it ends up jaming just about every time 🥴 love your content!! Thank u for sharing!!
I just bought a coil binder from Amazon. You can buy coils for huge books so I’m sure 100+ is out there. You just punch 5-10 sheets at a time so it may take a while.
Thanks!! I got the bundle! I'm super excited and nervous I've always like poetry but struggled to write poetry. So this will be a fun learning for my son and myself 😂
Every since you posted about your notebook for book studies I’ve been fascinated with this idea and want to implement it for my upcoming 5th grader but I am stuck at planning or how to implement. (We’ve only done a more traditional approach using a curriculum thus far). Do you have any novel/literature guides you recommend or a TPT store that has something to help me get started because I know after I do one or two I’ll be able to create my own but I think I need help getting up and going with something like this. Thanks for any suggestions or insights you have. Love your content.
It is hard to get started. If your on Instagram, check our @pineapplesandpencils. She has a highlight on what she’s done. The TPT link for the resource pages was a helpful springboard for me too, going through each of those tabs for the book of choice.
