Ever wanted to know what poi body tracers are but were afraid to ask? I've got you! Body tracers are a category of poi tricks characterized by slinky, body hugging movements with the hands as the poi swings back and forth across the body. In this video I've drilled through the history of poi body tracing and its origins in liquid dance and early European tech poi in addition to showing many of the variants on technique and frameworks for breaking these unique poi moves down. These are among my favorite intermediate poi tricks and I hope you'll appreciate this deep dive into their origin and uses!
