In pure democracy every citizen, no matter what his age, should be able to hear both sides and create his opinion based on what he knows; nobody has the right to interupt him by blocking the other side from being heard. This is not what you can see in most modern democracies. Of course LGBT is not the only subject of such people toying, it's present everywhere from geopolitics to some little internal issues.

The only issue with the policy is the glaring issue that any student under 16 will not have their requests in regards to names and pronouns respected without jumping through a ton of loopholes that may involve Bible thumping death to the gay kind of Christian parents. If your kids are terrified to tell you there's something wrong at home. The only one to blame for a trans child is often the parents genetics or otherwise. It may be a disposition but the rate of trans people abused in childhood is likely a major cause for abnormal brain development. I have met very few trans that weren't abused that alone makes me suspicious.

I have no doubt that if Pierre was the Conservative candidate for the 2021 election he would have won. He is so far, in my opinion, the best leader the Conservative Party has had since Harper.
