Anyone else listening to this track in 2021? This film is sensational! Masterpiece! The history, the soundtrack, the filming locations, the beaches and landscapes of Los Angeles, the actors, in short, everything contributes to this film being a classic. In 2021 celebrates 30 years! Congratulations! Best extreme sports and action movie!
Finished high school in 1991 and celebrated with friends on a sandy beach before going off to college. Dreams of what we were going to do with our lives, in front of a camp fire. This brings back many of those vibes.....more than 30 years ago now, I still cannot believe how quick time has passed...
@@TychiBalls I listen to this on repeat on the RU-vid music app on my phone . Even recorded it to set as my alarm clock tone to wake me up for work in the morning.
Love it! Bodhi’s actually quoting Mark Foo in this scene, the Hawaiian big wave surf who, ironically, died surfing marvericks a few years later in ‘94. Rip mark and Bodhi (swayze), both legends.
I took a geology class at a junior college, 1991. We flew to the Big Island to study volcanoes, very fortunate opportunity. I was 20 years old right off the farm. In stunning Kona, HI was a theater playing the now iconic, "Point Break". I hear this Isham score and remember Tyler saving Utah, beautiful scene and their movie chemistry! "...I am an F-B-I agent..!"
" goosebumps" listening to this track. What a great tune for one of the most romantic and touching scenes I've ever seen. Utah and Tyler were the perfect match....and the acting was flawless. The emotional score nailed it.....100%
Such a great movie, I just remember that time in my life. We would spend almost every day at the beach playing volleyball and many a night hanging out. Great times that I’m glad I got to experience… this movie and music always brings me back to 1991
A very under rated movie with a incredible score- one of Reeves best and Swayze's - great casting - James Le gross(Nixon) was great in it too - "just implementing my own plan of deregulation Mr. President"..."see you in hell Johnny" :)
TIMELESS. I think about youth, endless summers, the girl that got away, the girl that broke your heart, the time you should have walked away and the time when you were less than you thought you could be.
@@CHewittMedia I think he is actually talking about the first one which is true, they ended up looking like how they would in the future. R.I.P to Patrick Swayze
I remember first watching this when I was 10 in 2005 one of my favourite childhood films and I watched it again after years with a few joints high as fuck and it was like the first time watching again, 100% pure adrenaline
