First surfed it about 1977 with the Tracey bros m. Johnston d. Madigan Louie and Archie not many had tried before.

We started surfing Cartwright about 1970/1971. Knew it from when we used to row a tinnie across the river from Mooloolaba to go oystering in the early 60's.
