@@randomkoicarp Well you likely can. Depends on your situation, but dart frogs are kept in captivity by many reptile-and-amphibian keepers (I’m a novice reptile keeper myself, so thats why Ik a lot). They’re commonly kept in glass terrariums (Cages) with a planted naturalistic set up, using live plants, branches, and bark, and fed flightless fruitflies and small crickets. Theres a lot of information on keeping them that you can research but if you really want one

Finally at least 1 other person actually understands one of the biggest facts about these amphibians, it's the difference between life and death, if it's from the wild don't touch it but as long as it's mother and father never eats any bugs that are poisonous, then it's babies with be completely harmless without the poisonous food it eats, but still don't hold one & accidentally touch your eye, mouth, or anything, without at least washing your hands because the fact that they are amphibians they need to stay wet and they constantly wipe their bodies with anything around them that has some moisture which you never know for sure about the difference types of bacteria and things that could make you sick, but one from a captive breed vs one from the wild is a huge difference I already commented this then I saw your comment so glad to know others know these important facts even though this guy makes a video but forgets it's biggest fact he must just Google it & make a video he definitely has no actual experience with them, I've had many different colored poison dart frogs and always washed my hands but nothing has ever happened to me from holding them, but so much as touch a wild one it can absorb through your skin and yes possibly kill you or have lifelong side effects even if you could get to the hospital within 30minutes, but good for you to know this also bro!!!👍👍👍

You can get them all over the world as pets but depending on where you live, their more likely to wild caught or captive bred. Also some places seem to have less access to them. From what I’ve heard Canada has it rough when it comes to hobbies, especially ones involving animals

​@@sashypooh409It is not captivity that makes them not poisonous. They sequester poison from insects they eat, so if you fed them the same diet in captivity, they would still be poisonous.
