There’s others that doesn’t have majors that are legends at this game. But also, Legend got kids that are playing this game and are getting good at it. For his legacy to be active in the community also makes him legend
@@bblue1555 I agree with you on his overall community contributions. Although you bringing up his children could avenge him angle gives credence to mine. Long live UMVC3 best fighting game ever.
I’m confused this game has been out for 10 years!!! Is Spider-Man guy still trying to find a “team”????? 0-7 This was hard to watch. Hope he’s just a new player, 10 years later got bodied.
Not sure how long he played the game for but it’s possible they didn’t play the game when it first came out. They probably really like Spider-Man and picked a team that didn’t get the results they wanted. And I’ve put up set where I’ve gotten wrecked too. I went 0-21 against Remy. To get better sometimes you play outside of your level.
Definitely haven't decided on a team lol, I usually just main spidey but I can't seem to figure out who I wanna run with him, I do have a team in the works currently though 👀
The Spidey assist with Missiles definitely work as well as Vergil and Rapid slash. This also serves in the current Meta with a powerful anchor that can counter all the characters in the game... as long as he has meter.
First couple matches. Some people do that to feel out their opponent then play their main after and try to gain momentum. But poisonhound plays a bunch of different spiderman teams and he done that in this set
@@JustJDog09 Oh… I didn’t have mods installed on these servers. I need to learn to do that myself. I had Salute help me on my PC but any of the setups I don’t know how to get that done.
@@PoisonHound I should get on having the modded characters. I usually focus on the characters the original because that’s what we all know but people love the mods too
I know the feeling of not having a team with Spider-Man. There's not that many characters in UMVC3 that I felt I could play Spidey with back then. I ultimately stuck it out with Spidey/Ryu/Dante until I started playing infinite. I always love seeing the difference in synergy between Spidey and other characters
In this game I think Spider-Man is underrated. His ability to to rushdown and evade and challenge air oriented characters at certain angles make him a difficult character to face. You put that with the right game plan he works. I fought Poison myself in TNS and I was surprised I won because of the angles he used to attack and call assist.
@@bblue1555 Agreed. I always thought Spidey was an under repped character. The biggest problem with him as a character is that you have to be really good with movement as well as assists calls. To the point where he practically leaves no room for error. And that's not even factoring in the plink dashing combos. And specific synergy needed to make him a threat at high level.
He definitely has proven himself to be an excellent point character if the chips are properly laid down. Web-zip provides excellent mix-ups in the corner along with a lockdown assist. Unique travel angles and neutral due to cancelable specials and web-zip. High damaging (albeit difficult) combos. As well as Ultimate Web Throw still being a relatively powerful reset tool (also fuck you to Phoenix). But the majority of the playerbase, isn't gonna wanna put that sort of time into essentially destroying their hands the way lilmonix, Airborne, Broshadian, Poison, and Bottleofmoe (to an extent) do when playing Spider-Man
@@fgc_d3v079 His web throw loops is time and execution sensitive and is necessary for high damage combos which may be a big reason people shy away from using him. There’s reset opportunities a person can take to make it easier to get the damage they need to kill and Spider-Man not being used as much it makes it less predictable. But taking on the challenge of a Spider-Man and becoming more optimal with him can make people better with execution, better players in general.
@@bblue1555 Yeah I agree 1000%. I might get back to him when I come back to 3. Cracking open a can of Panther is easier said than done. But he's in the same boat as Spider-man tbh.
