POISONING THE GUARDS WITH CUTTING POWDER IN THE CAYO PERICO HEIST! GTA 5 ONLINE

To me, it feels like the cutting powder should make there be less guards on the map. Pavel mentions that they'll have to choose between standing guard and being in the toilet, so it would make sense that there would be less guards around.

Make a wheel that says uf you need to use cutting torch or bolt cutter and also one if you need to poison the guards or need to do a distruption Edit try to get in the compound in the intel mission by using your parachute and jumping of the communication tower

TIP! If you collect the powder during the setup before you go to the communication tower, you can climb to the very top of the tower and skydive over to the top of the water tower near the main dock.

I use the cutting powder basically every time because it can make a big difference, and also it makes me laugh to think that El Rubio and all his guards are crapping their pants.

I watched a video that showed that the aim and damage from guards is much lower when they are poisoned. So if you are doing stealth you won't really benefit from it, but if you trigger the guards you will be glad you poisoned them. They basically go from cheaty GTA Online NPC's to regular GTA V Story NPC's.

The aim is less effective. If you do that same exit path without the powder, you would have lost more money. The normal guards are able to constantly shoot your bag, so you are always losing money!

I use the cutting torch all the time. They're way weaker. The issue is the helicopters. Without the helicopters, you can stand in front of the guards shooting you and they won't kill you. El Rubio is the one shooting you from the valkyrie that's why he's not affected. I'm not sure about the buzzard. Since I don't do the Cayo as much as I used to I do all the prep work so the buzzers don't spawn for me. I found out about this when me and my buddies first started doing Cayo and we one of us was trying to die because we all got killed except for him and he was just standing there and the guards couldn't kill him. He literally had to drown himself to die.

TIP! If you do a distribution setup and do air support, you can eliminate Rubios buzzard supply and if you do it aggressively or get caught while out of the compound there will be no choppers chasing you

I think the powder really helped! I just learnt about that in your last video, so thanks for that. Can you stack it with the weapons and or armour sabotages? I sometimes like to use those when I feel like screw around the island. Might me fun to try.

I have been able to put the disguise located opposite the hanger at the airport while on top of the building without jumping down. Also found a dead whale at the jetty near the airport where a disguise is sometimes located. They should defo make the poison have greater effect, like guards running to the toilets unable to detect you or something with some funny speech lines.

You can't get attacked while hacking or using the blowtorch lol.....

My experience with the poison was that the guards were way inaccurate with there shoots. Especially the helicopter. I could just sit still on the motorcycle and it took them like a min or two to kill me.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the cutting powder is supposed to be a nod to the fact a common cutting agent used for cocaine is baby laxatives. Assuming that's the case, you wouldn't expect the guards to behave like they're drunk, it's more like they'd have diarrhea and potentially be vomiting. The poor aim and health would likely be a result of just generally feeling sick and having a bad gut ache. Either way, rockstar didn't make them act in the way you'd expect. I always imagined that it would reduce the number of guards because they'd hypothetically be in a bathroom and the ones who were left would just be slower in all ways ie shooting, running, etc

Kill the gunner in the helicopter and leave the pilot so the helicopters don't respawn and you won't get shot at

You could have escaped through the water right next to the compound. You would have kept your stealth and it would be faster. Look it up, you just have to swim away from the island while going deep underwater.

The first time I used the powder was the first time I tried going in at the north dock. I fugg'd up, triggered the alarm, got shot less than usual, and saw a red dot disappear from my minimap while I heard fart noises. Dysentery is sum real shet 😕

They should have made the guards make farting noises like they're actually shitting their pants, even make they're asses turn brown. How funny would that be? Also you didn't mention it but supposedly depending what water tower you poison only the guards in that area should be affected. That's probably why they didn't seem that weak when they were chasing you

Yea, I think the cutting power is useless. Maybe it works better when you complete all the disruption tasks too. But it's hard to tell.

TIP: To escape, take a boat in the main port and drive it far away from the Island, it works stealth and discovered

I'm confused why triggering the guards has an effect on the elite challenge at all. Elite challenge = under 15 min, no hacks failed, full loot bags

Yeah, i agree with you on the poision, not helpful, and waste of time. They need to make it better, and making it to where they crash and crash the helecopter into the house or something drama like..lol

Playing on ps4. So when you get the cutting torch, the only compound entry you can do is the tunnel?

Whenever you do VOLTlab hack, after completing it, imediately go into interaction menu when the screen changes back to the world, this will cut the animation of closing the door and locking it, saving you the seconds of tension of fear of being shot while closing it. This tip can also be used during the setup so you can get onto your phone quicker to start scouting loot.

Wow poisoning the water really helped. Their aim was awful, even the helicopters and you took minimal damage. Maybe this is worth it if I'm wanting to go aggressive (or whatever). Thanks for sharing this.

As a drainage rat I had never heard of the monster in Cayo perico

What it actually does it gives you few seconds before the alarm starts.you see the con of vision disappearing but the alarm not start right away. But some not affected apparently. It did saved me few times in compound I must say the aim is good not gonna change just start the alarm few sec later that's all.

This probably the most useful if you do a aggressive approach

Why are your guards in a different spot than mine? Everytime i try to get the cash at main dock i get caught by a guard walking near the outfit.

How about you do a Prico where you set it up, then invite people you do not know To see If they run and gun or stealth with you.

This is always a MUST for me during the gather intel portion of the heist- it makes it so much easier to pick off the guards if you get caught (I always end up getting caught 😢)
