Yes one of the ideas behind Pokémon is that they’re like animals, only with varying powers and abilities that humans can harness and train for competitions. Think of chicken or dog fighting if the chicken have powers and abilities.

I am frankly more excited for this movie than even Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. This has a lot more potential. Ken Watanabe's performance was awkward though.
The only censorship in the entire Pokemon franchise I can think of is a few pictures on the cards being slightly altered, the removal of a few episodes because of boobs & guns, the removal of the Game Corner in more recent games, & the anime not showing Ash's (Kinda) first kiss with Serena. If those things alone got you to quit an entire franchise than you might be a little bit easily triggered.
@@soul71000 Oh yes they did change Jynx from black to purple. It's really not that big of a deal, I have a hard time believing that you would generally quit Pokemon because of that small handful of issues. I can't think of anything that doesn't have at least that many problems or more. Do you not watch any of the comic book movies that come out nowadays? Many of the comic books got that exact kind of censorship treatment overtime. I mean honestly the only way you could actually live your life without engaging with things that have those same type of problems is by isolating yourself into a Safe Space room without having anything that could interact with the outside world. But that's clearly not the case since you're on RU-vid. Honestly you're coming off as a bit of a triggered snowflake. Also keep in mind much of the censorship that Pokemon & other mediums of entertainment get hassled with isn't by their own hand. it's usually mandatory by outside groups like their own Government cracking down on the Game Corner in the main series games, & pulling the Porygon episode because of mass epileptic seizures. Jinx, tits, & guns were all censored because of Conservative nut jobs in power here in the states, also from organization like the FCC. The Pokemon company is a victim of censorship, they're not the ones actually pushing it.
I hate to bring in race but it has to be said so people are aware..........A white family excited about a movie starring a black man, not once bashing it for it being so......that is true fans right there, im latino btw.
@@infamouspanik1772 I mentioned it because the majority of movies starring white actors are bashed for not having a diverse protagonist...…. I am just making it aware that the other side is tolerant and we accept any protagonist regardless of skin color.
@@gamesday666 well thats just us the normal people that dont really care about that kinda stuff in our media vs the SJWesc mindset of having diversity for the sake of diversity.
