SML to Pokemon for making a Bug-Type Elite Four member. I was 9 years old, and I played Diamond for the first time ever, and Aaron gave me such a difficult time beating him. It took me a couple of tries to get a good win with him. My team consisted of Torterra, Lucario, Crobat, and Dialga. Note, I was underleveled and I underestimated his team, especially Dustox and Beautifly, considering how perceivably weak they were. Dustox took down my Torterra, even when it had Rock Slide. It had Bug Buzz, Protect, and Toxic. Crobat was around Lvl 45, so it had to stick with Air Cutter. Light Screen along with Double Team and Protect was annoying as hell. Beautifly surprised me because of its moveset. It took down my Crobat when it used Psychic twice. Crobat wasn’t at a high enough level, but I really thought it wouldn’t be a problem, since it was just a Beautifly. Even though my Dialga had Flamethrower, Heracross killed it with Close Combat. It was fast enough to one shot me with that move. Vespiquen was so tanky that it took down a couple of my Pokemon. When I sent out Crobat to poison it, I went WTF when Vespiquen used Power Gem. Drapion was a different beast because I had no idea that it wasn’t a Bug Type, and it had good defence against my Pokemon during the time. Poison & Dark typing was definitely difficult to take down. I used Torterra’s Earthquake, but it killed me with Ice Fang. Same scenario with Crobat, taken down by Ice Fang. A number of Aerial Aces killed my Lucario. Dialga was a couple of levels lower, and I had to use Roar of Time just to finally take Aaron’s Drapion down. Hands down, great job to Pokemon for making Bug-Type more appreciated, especially through Aaron as an Elite Four Member. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Flint's Diamond and Pearl battle though  Never made it that far in the game myself, but I know how infamous it is for his bizzare selection of Pokémon, which they fixed in Platinum.
Sinnoh Elite 4 Aaron. Because of one reason: Clay Adams in-fact provides Aaron with the Cody Jones tone of voice, which is also used on Reginald “Reggie” Van Howell III, Bob Banter, Jesse Anderson, Crow Hogan and Mirage Donatello :) Clay Adams’s nickname is Christopher C. Adams
i remember using a DS Replay on platinum version and you could catch opposing trainers pokémon. It’s definitely cheating but it was nice to be able to have unlimited master balls so you could take Girintina and then some of the elite 4 pokémon.
My favorite elite 4 of all time in Diamond and Pearl (not Platinum), has a great variety in the different Pokemon being used, amazing music and the levels really give you a challenge.
Flint is my favorite and his Infernape knowing ThunderPunch. But I was actually referring to all of the Elite 4 & Cynthia as champion because they were so unique and presented a big challenge, that took a real strategy team-wise to overcome.
My teams in the Elite Four Aaron are: Ashley (Staraptor L100), Alyssa May (Torterra L100), Samantha (Luxray L100), Vicki Sarah (Rapidash L100), Amanda (Bibrael L100), and Katie Alyssa (Blissey L99).
I love Aaron (Bug Type E4 nigga deserves respect) and Flint mostly in Diamond and Pearl bc he confused me. But Lucian will always have a special place in my Heart
I use to remember of defeating the elite four with only some of my pokemon that has less level numbers because i am not good at leveling up my pokemon but except my palkia because he is op
i tried to attempt this with some low levels but I don't think i can. which sucks because i hate the monotony of just grinding for hours just for like 5 fights.
Of course Flint the "Fire type specialist when theres only 2 fire types in the whole region so he just uses whatever Pokemon can fire type moves" Elite 4 member
@@mikeasllani6972 but sinnoh had this theme where gym leaders were specialized in a type of move rather than a type of Pokemon And to me that's such an interesting idea
One thing I dislike about the DP E4 is how they increased in strength, I like thinking of them as all equal in power. Plus the increase in level was insane, Flint was just like what, you needed to grind so much for this E4 and champion because of level differences lmao
Man, Rampardos is badass, but sadly, I don’t think I’ve seen your Rampardos take down ANY Pokemon out of the Gym Battles and where I saw it get taken by Bertha’s Golem. Though there are still more Elite Four members to be battled in this video.
