That Palace Maven battle was insane!!

Can we talk about the part where Slaking was loafing around and Salamence was sleeping? What an exciting battle

Till this day, I'm still amazed that Sceptile survived a Calm Mind boosted Blizzard with 1 HP remaining.

The battle frontier to date is the biggest challenge I've found in any Pokemon game.

I love how some of the Frontier Brains get pissed when they lose. Like everybody else in the game that loses to you is happy about it for some reason, but the brains just go, "WTF??? Are you kidding me? How dare you beat me!!! Here's your symbol!"

Crawdaunt going for the Guillotine, defying the accuracy odds and the guaranteed loss if it missed, was really startling to me.

So let me get this straight. You had to put up with: - The luck of the draw of the Battle Factory - The random paths of the Battle Pike - The 2-Pokemon only Tournaments of the Battle Dome - The referee rules of the Battle Arena - The total randomness of the Battle Palace - The constant monotony of the Battle Tower - The infuriating progression of the Battle Pyramid (And Brandon having all three Legendary Birds) And your reward... IS A *SINGLE BERRY?* THAT'S IT?! NOT A TROPHY, A CERTIFICATE, A POKEMON, NOTHING?! A BERRY?!

Guillotine 30% accuracy or 100% accuracy

Yeah, I was lucky in some battle I know lol Anyway, Tomorrow I will be posting Diamond & Pearl but also Platinum/HG/SS frontier brain Silver Symbol and March, 16th I will be posting Gold Symbol

The part where Sceptile hung on with 1 hp against Spencer's Suicune was so epic. Sceptile and Brandon's bond was strong enough to defeat such a powerful pokemon 😭. The fact that the pokemon choose their own moves makes it even more insane.

This is so nostalgic lol, I only ever managed to win the Silver match against Lucy as a kid. I wish Game Freak would port this version of the Battle Frontier over to a newer generation.

6:59 I guess Explosion was smart on Steelix’s part, that is an _explosively_ powerful move, and Steelix only had a few HP left anyways. Also, Steelix had just used Screech, so Salamence’s (or Drattak’s) Defense had harshly fallen.

When I first played Emerald back in 2005 I managed to get 5 of the 7 Symbols and I was more than happy with Silver I could never get the Symbols for the Battle Tower & Battle Pyramid which are the two hardest facilities to defeat. 15 years later in 2020 during the 1st UK Lockdown I decided to complete the Sinnoh/Johto Battle Frontier and after getting the Gold Prints I decided to get all 7 Gold Symbols on the Hoenn Battle Frontier the easiest facilities are the Battle Pike, Battle Palace, Battle Dome & Battle Factory when I finally defeated Pyramid King Brandon to get the Gold Symbol for the Battle Pyramid I cried because it meant so much it was the ultimate achievement for me in any game. The Battle Tower & Battle Pyramid in the Hoenn Battle Frontier are the hardest and most brutal facilities to win such a nightmare. The Battle Frontier in Sinnoh & Johto is really easy to conquer although the Battle Hall gives you a challenge I say its the hardest facility.

It's an extremely small thing, but I absolutely ADORE how the switch in animations at 0:55-0:58 and 2:22-2:25 go PERFECTLY with the music

Yup the Battle Palace was odd because you have NO Control of your mons. It tests the bond between Trainer and Pokémon, making things automatic.

If ORAS had the Frontier they’d be eons better than Emerald.
