Imagine that. Giovanni standing in a cave as you challenge him to a battle 38 times. The only time you beat him is when he gets tired and gives a bad order and you get insanely lucky and profit from that
18:20 Giovanni is a Gym leader in Gen 1 because it’s a surprise reveal for the player, while presumably it’s a surprise reveal for the rest of the world that this “pillar of the community” is leading Team Rocket. (This saying might also be a metaphorical tie-in to why he’s a Ground-type leader… plus all his Pokémon are physically large and tough, which can be equally seen as admirable or frightening.) It’s actually pretty good writing for a kids’ game, which helped the franchise grow from that original premise. Of course the anime made no secret of who Giovanni was because the games had already gotten popular by then. Jesse and James crashed almost every episode. But before that, and in the days before widespread Internet knowledge, that ending was a real twist.
Water/Grass and Fire/Grass are among the best combos for grass types. Rock/grass isnt to be overlooked either, since they cancel each others weaknesses
Good lord. All of the grass type fusions were amazing. Even though Rosatina, Starsect, Toritar, Venupert, and that Gardevoir/Breloom fusion were my favorites.
Great video, I'm excited to find such a quality new channel! I echo many of these comments and request a single pokemon run, perhaps a popular mon, or just your favorite!
Ngl I didn't have a problem with the Parabuzz because two reasons. One Bug type is the weakest so you technically handicapped yourself and Bug type has nearly the same weaknesses. Two resistances so it's not as much of a big deal than it would be if you used a Steel or Fairy type in that place
The green outlines tell you custom fusions so you shouldn’t be wasting time. Plus I’m the randomizer options there’s a setting for only custom sprites for trainers and wild encounters
When I played Infinite Fusion I used my bulbasuar starter and merged it with the pikachu line. Nice typing and the Venusaur Raichu had a cool custom sprite
Ya know, this is like the 6th one of these vids i've watched, and the thing about being a fresh channel resonated with me, cause that's gonna be me when i start doing content. Ya got a sub. Can't wait to see how you grow.
@@QJCosmic Really?? I'm so confused because I've downloaded the latest custom sprite pack and my game looks so much worse! Ohhhh unless it's because you're playing on that modern setting? Idk that's the only thing I can think of
Can you do a Porygon fusion only one and if not only dragon fusions? Idk if you already did both but if you did can you do a run where you only use fusions of two of the same pokemon
Well, Giovanni is kinda like a Mafia guy, right? So him being a gym leader is both a front for his organization and also shows the power he has even if Team Rocket bites the big one. It's not unusual for organized crime to have legitimate businesses to help hide the illegal business and explain where all of a sudden this money came from. Totally the legal business Mr. Fed Man.
Quick claw procking the second time was not 4%. Since the probability isnt dependent on prior outcomes, the probability resets to its original chances.
@QJCosmic only prior to it happening. If u had predicted the need for 2 procks then it would have been reduced but claiming the necessity for a second after the first introduces a conditional probability. If u remember in stats, P(A|B) = P(A {intersect} B} / P(B) But since P(A {intersect} B} = P(A) × P(B) Then the probability of the conditional is just P(A). In this case A is the second prock and B is the first prock.
To be fair, once the quick claw has already triggered, the next trigger is 20% chance. Same as two consecutive coin flips. If your plan had relied on 2 claw proccing, it would have been different, but when you remade your plans, you had 20% chances of success :P
