BTW didn't realize it until a google search later, but "Soe yue?" was likely "See You ?" like how in the beginning of the segment the Unown were meant to spell "Pokemon Presents" but some them were scrambled (in the wrong places)
The style in the trailer seems futuristic, but the blueprints and such looks old. I think the idea for the game is based on the re-development of Paris in the 1800's.
The twitter said that it takes place entirely in Lumiose so it most likely is, probably grows as you advance the game like the Rescue Command Post in Pikmin 4
@TechnoArpan Excellent lore and ideas, pretty bad execution. I have to keep reminding myself I even played the game, despite looking back, I like a lot of the Pokémon from the region.
@@TheTrueKingJ oh wow... omg i hate explaining but well... potato legends arcues never had online battle... i really hate explaining the obvious one but well.... next time do your homework before commenting.. what the hell im talking about... mainline always have online battles... hahahahaha im laughin its soo obvius... mainline always have complete functions...and VGC viable as the first legend came out arcues... we can conclude what legends means... side story... like legend arcuez..
i can see there being a battle at the top of that tower with zyguarde being overpowered and trying to destroy the place. Also thinking pink in the logo = diancie. Or tenuous.... but shiny celebi?
@@fabianjimenez4482Zygarde's on nature's side. It just so happens the baddies usually wanna screw over nature as part of their schemes. If we're working on urban development, that might not be the case anymore...
Oohh, that's very interesting, pokemon legends zygarde, I'm pretty sure it's going to be based on modern day France, with the redevelopment plan, I'm pretty sure the next game is gonna be based on galar which is England a part of the uk, and it's modernization.
Interesting thing I noticed, the Z clearly has Zygarde scales, while the A seems to have some plant like vines in it. New grass type legendary? Maybe Yggdrasil itself to go along with the origins of the other legendaries?
The "A" looks like lambda letter. It's very tied to many areas in tech/science, but in quantum mechanics it's linked to "wavelength" *and* one of them is for optical fiber! The graphics are really giving the blueprint idea for sure but also it gives me strong movement of the light, if that makes sense? So remodeling the city could mean it being in the future and they are making the city more hightech-ey
Just speculation from my part, but a possible reason why in the next Legends we only see Luminous City is because is set in a post-apocalitic future. It could explain why in the video we see like a virtual world, people where creating the city from the ground after a massive disaster that destroyed the place so its getting a revamp, or most of the people are into virtual reality in a fake bubble of peace after said disaster.
I was having a breakdown at the bus stop😭 gen 6 was my first and fav gen. Zygarde is my fav legendary! Will We get new Megas? Aaah i cant wait😭😭😭 imma ditch my starter and catch a wild froakie😭
@@AlphaFX-kv4udyes, but lumiose is like Paris and lumiose existed for along time as far as we know, so it could be like the redevelopment of Paris in the 1800s and we get the “lumiose world fair”
*ITS A BLUEPRINT!!!!!!!!!* we are a character that lives in the post kalos war who help with the redevelopment of lumios city with AZ and his paradox flowette. where we learn about the giant crystal death lazer that fired upon a pre giant Casim paldea.
I'm hyped for this legend game and now have questions for it. Is Z-A where you are starting in the future and travel back to the modern time where they start redevelopment.
I think the unown spelling Soyeue were trying to spell SEE YOU but they were in the wrong order. Kinda like how the Unown at the start of the presents were in the wrong order to spell POKEMON PRESENTS
I've rewatched a few times and a personal theory I have is that the unknown phrases we see like "Soe Yue?" is an indicator that time is going to be mixed up, I think this Legends game will have something similar to the distortions we saw in Legends Arceus but themed towards Zygard and its many forms and, I'm asuming, the new legendary hinted at in the coloring and design of the A in ZA. this is another assumption that we're getting a second legendary because the A's design is so different I assume its a companion meaning to the Z, and if the Z is Zygard in style the A can reasonably be a second legendary - hope that makes sense. Given the redeveopment theme and the Pokemon company's focus on harmony within the pokemon world in general I"m looking forward to tackling the challenge of making a space that is functional and beautiful for both people and pokemon, no matter what era we're placed in :)
I am pretty convinced now that this is meant to be set sometime after the events of X and Y. If you look at the clothing worn by some of the people, even with the wire frame mesh sort of graphics, you can see modern clothing. I'm pretty darn sure there's a girl wearing a baseball cap and shorts.
I think everyone's overthinking it. I believe that this'll take place not that long after XY, no more than a decade and a half. The redevelopment is simply that. The people of Kalos are remaking Lumiose City to be a more welcoming environment for people and pokemon.
I think it’s going to take place in the recent past and we’re going to be developing lumiose into its modern form, like with Paris in the 1800s, maybe we get a “lumiose world fair”
We have to keep in mind that it's a Legends game. PLA was what? The Legend of ARCEUS. This one is Legends Z-A, the Legend of Z-A. Is that the legend of AZ? The legend of Zygarde? It also hints at a loose plot in the teaser. It starts with a 19th century style art style and building design, and then flashes to the ultra modern Lumiose City as we know it today. I think it'll go back in time to these early days of the city and also go to modern time. I recommend seeing Locksin's video on the lore. It covers a lot of possibilities that make sense. There's two possibilities, it's either the Legend of AZ, or the Legend of Zygarde. Or both? We have a lot of the lore already laid out from previous media. X and Y already talk about the history of the region as a whole, so we can potentially look for hints there.
This might be a stretch, but since AZ is a man from 1,000 years from the past, reversing his name for the title could hint to a 1,000 year time jump forward for the setting of the game.
There was an official online version of the Pokémon TCG, called Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. It's why all Pokémon TCG decks, box sets, and booster packs have a code card, so you can get your real life collection on the computer as well. However, this original version isn't available on phones, for whatever reason. (It is available for tablets, though)
In 1853-1870, Baron Haussmann, under Nepoleon's orders, reconstructed and beautified/modernized the city of Paris. This would be around the same time frame as Legends Arceus took place in the Sinnoh region. Additionally, just before Paris' reconstruction, a way to create architectural building plans was just invented. Blue prints are the way they are because the process of creating duplicates requires an invertion method. All that is blue will stay white in the duplication process, and all that is white will be printed as dark blue/black. The reconstruction of Paris was the first major building project that utilized blue prints heavily in its planning and organization phases. Paris is also the city of lights. Trying to convey both, unfortunately, creates a neon effect.
I think this game is basically Pokémon’s version of hausmann’s renovation of Paris, just like how legends arceus was similar to the early Japanese settlement of Hokkaido
I have a feeling there's going to be two games... Z and A one in the past of Kalos and one in the future. A la Black n White. Something about the two tones, the future one, and the more low key one with the accordion.
There is enough information to tell that at least some of the game takes place in the future, or at least after X and Y. The road they show with very modern looking buildings is the road to Jaune Plaza, which right now has very old looking buildings. There's also modern style clothing which indicates that it's in a modern setting. A case could be made that it's set in the 80s instead of the near future, given the style, but I personally think rebuilding after the destruction of the Ultimate Weapon is more likely.
To be honest, the city plans and the yellowish background look more like a renacentism kind of planning, so it would be my guess its going to be in the imperialism reestrocturing of paris in the 1800, wich for me sounds awesome
Gen 6, like all gens, is flawed. But I absolutely love it, and this might be the most excited I've been for a Pokemon game since megas first got revealed.
Unless this was built to have hundreds of NPC trades, you would have to leave the city to get pokemon. But I agree, it will probably smaller world, which is fine
The paper + pencil part of the plza teaser made me think of the 1920s. A lot of big changes happened IRL in the 20s so I'd be interested in a pokemon game set then!
The Hisuian Voltorb event in S/V confirmed it for me that it was going to be a Legends game. This is going to tie together Mega Evolution and Terrastilization since AZ's floette is technically the first paradox pokemon. Moxie2D has a great theory on all of this.
What I hope is the plot is that this is the universe that Rainbow Rocket Lysander came from where he fired off the ultimate weapon and wiped out most of Kalos and the reason we're only in Lumiose is because the rest of Kalos is inhospitable and we're doing urban redevelopment because refugees from the rest of Kalos are flocking to Lumiose because since Lysander viewed it as the most beautiful city in Kalos, he left it untouched. We could even have a bunch of megas roaming outside of Lumiose which is why it's considered dangerous similar to the alpha pokemon in Legends Arceus. Our purpose is to defeat Lysander and restore balance to Kalos. I also hope that this means we'll get Gen 10 in 2026 for the 30th anniversary and maybe Gen 5 remakes in 2027? Will this be the case? Probably not, but a ghoul can dream.
I think Pokémon is doing more of what the fans want because now they realize their main audience is a bit older than it used to be. It's a great way to introduce one of the best regions to newer fans by using an Open World game while still catering to the older fans who still regard Kalos as the last good region, maybe my bias is showing through but yeah!
I think plaz it could be late 1800's/1900's. Like, I imagine the prism tower is either being planned, being built, or was just built recently. I could definitely see the protag being from the future/present like in pla, but maybe a different explanation would be used, hard to say. I have a feeling the starters will be the kalos starters, (unlike legends arceus) but with added mega evos
There was a lot of Johto pointers throughout Unova is going to be pushed back and inclusion in SV makes it in the further future They get to finish Gen 6 now. Eternal Floette? New Megas? Maybe some untouched history. It’s going to be futuristic maybe. All possibilities. The A looks like Lumiose City as well as maybe linking Legends Arceus or to show the alphabet maybe? Just a few first thoughts.
Sorry to break your hopes but as I see is more like a 1600’s style so I don’t think that will be like what you’re though or I miss misunderstood what you’re saying
I'm so hyped for Legends ZA! The Z looks like zygarde, so I wonder if the A is a new legendary for the game. Possibly going between the digital world that zygarde was created in and reality?
Most if not everyone was not expecting a Legends game set in Kalos to be called "Legends Z-A". If X and Y were references to the x-axis and y-axis(considering Pokémon X & Y were the first 3D or 3DS games), could Z-A be referring to something in the field of math, science, or computers? As far as the fact that this comes out in 2025 goes, I hope that it comes out in November or December of 2025 rather than some time within the first half of 2025. After looking at the logo for a bit, I noticed something about the Z and A. While the Z has hexagons within it, the A has plant imagery within it. Assuming that the Z refers to Zygarde, the A might refer to a legendary or mythical Pokémon that will premier in this game. The symbol on the urban redevelopment plan for Lumiose City could be relevant to either Clemont, Lumiose City, Kalos, Lysandre, or something new. I'm curious to see its importance in this upcoming game. It'll be good to check the Japanese logo for "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" to see if it teases anything. I do hope that AZ's Eternal Flower Floette becomes a Pokémon that we can obtain or at least battle in this upcoming game. We've known about it and its signature move Light of Ruin for so long. As far as Mega Evolution is concerned, I hope that we get not just the Megas from X/Y and OR/AS, but also new Megas. I'd love to see Mega Evolutions for the Kalos starters, some Kalos Dex Pokémon, and others, especially a Mega for Flygon and Milotic. It always felt weird that the only Kalos Pokémon that could Mega Evolve was Diancie. There were Alolan Pokémon that had signature Z-Moves and Galarian Pokémon that could Gigantamax. I'm curious to see whether Legends Z-A will take place before or after the events of X & Y.
