I got this DVD around the time my mother died. I remember watching it the night after her funeral. This song sticks with me and always takes me back, how unsure and scared what was going to happen to me moving to another state and start my life all over again with my father. This song gave me hope it was all going to be okay.
Not going to lie, I am a 24 year old guy and this song always makes me cry. Every.Single.Time. But in all seriousness, sometimes I just wish I could leave this world behind and go to the Pokémon world, our world is just incredibly sucky, especially in current times. I do believe in the multiverse theory as well.
It was maybe 2007 or 6? Idk i live in texas in la feria. I was at my grandmas i was like 14. I watched this movie and remebered it snowed that day(which is rare down here) i cryed so much when jirachi said ill never foget u. Even though i was young and learning life. I felt and knew life is gonna pass by and its gonna suck. Well im 28 now. It does suck. But so happy to have these awesome memories of pokemon and when life was care free.
I love "Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker" It's arguably the most faithful dub of a "Pokémon" movie done by 4Kids Entertainment. The dialogue stays true to the source material, the music is kept 100% and we even got this beautiful masterpiece of an ending. I'd say it's on par with the Disney dubs of Studio Ghibli films.
See 4Kids are trying their best with keeping like original Japanese as possible doesn’t mean one company is perfect not even Japan too because 4Kids and Japanese were both perfect handling anime back in the day, but never realized they kept everything I thought they usually kept some like never knew they kept Japanese intro and ending for this movie
@@nateb746In my opinion Pokémon Advanced Generation and Diamond & Pearl anime’s and movies are on par with Hayao Miyazaki’s movies especially Spirited Away, Castle In The Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Howls Moving Castle, Porco Rosso and Princess Mononoke.
I tried to sing this at my school just the english part and suddenly my wish came true. My wish was to sing my favorite song in public without hesitation.
Now im watching and hearing to this ..but no matter howmany times i rewatch this i cant get the feeling when i was watching this as a 9 years old kid.however i rewatch this every year in april...until 2023❤❤its just a memory now....
My childhood, all into a song about a show about it catching little creatures and making them fight each other and gain higher ranks the more gyms you complete, dear god I thank you for blessing me to have a great childhood.
Song is so nostalgic. Reminds me of a time when things were still so new, didn't have too many responsibilities just yet, lots of time with friends and family, you still explored the Internet, there wasn't fucking covid or a war in east europe going on.
First time hearing the full version, didn't know there was japanese. Cartoon Network/Kids WB always sped through the end credits. But from the part I heard I liked it but never knew the name until now.
This was the first Pokémon movie I watched, I remember as a kid I would always fast forward to the scene with ground at the end as it was my favourite part. (I love kaijus)
“Fly a rocket to the moon” really hit me. I’ve always wanted to be an astronaut. Especially on the space shuttle. I can’t be an astronaut because I have epilepsy and other problems.
I remembered this melody but I didn’t know where it was from, until I saw the movie again today. I saw this movie as a kid and back then I was a pretty big Pokémon hater (because i was forced to watch it when I had fever the remote was gone and each episode was from a different season so I was so confused XD) and that only stoped this year but I always remembered this movie my brothers forced me to watch and I actually loved it. This is still considered the only good Pokémon movie for me even after I’ve seen some more movies (willingly this time XD) so glad I bought the dvd so I could watch it again! Still as good as I remembered. + finally figured out where the song came from
Every time when I would listen to this song it always helps me remember that feeling of what it's like being in Love when I first met this Japanese Girl who was an exchange Student. I always try to remember that feeling that I had when she was there that is the feeling of feeling Strong, safe and protected when she was in my Arms
i bought a pirated dvd with like all of the pokemon movies up until the bw movies and i played jirachi wishmaker and when it ended this played and i was really happy sad yeah horse: *nuzzles me* me: *laughs* easy now.
