I am a university student who still enjoys watching this sorta stuff, especially the non-scripted videos because they feel more real and like I'm apart of a conversation of friends; rather than watching an entertainer. I first started watching John's content during the pandemic and then Mikey's (John introduced me to Mikey, not vice versa), both while in High School, so I already knew people with beards when Mikey still had a shaven face

What about an ultra sun and moon sort of nuzzlock. Each pokemon has three lives. Cage matches for items. When the 3 lives are up, they don't die.They just get to retire to an island life with Mhon.

Idea for a Mikey character play through. "Encounter Fiend Mikey": he loves Nuzlockes but only for the encounters. That way you can do an anti-nuzlocke video where you essentially skip the fights or go through them very quickly but super focus on the encounters and make them sound super dramatic. That way he gets to do a fun character and he gets to do a Nuzlocke without really doing a Nuzlocke.

If that greninja hit the zap cannon, it would have been stab because of protean, and charge boosted, that would’ve been INSANE.

I think the Psyduck as a ghost came from an image in Pokemon Specials/Adventures manga where the main protagonist Red visits the Pokemon Tower and witnesses a Psyduck with its skin and bones melting. And I wish Mikey heard the "joke" John said of using Smelling Salts to get rid of ghosts since there's actually basis behind it, Buddhism and I think Shintoism has families use salt to ward off evil spirits. So quite befitting with John's topic.

As someone with a mullet coloured pink, green and blue, the conversation about hair colour was very entertaining. Ime most people stop caring when they realise it's not a big deal to me

Fun fact: calling back to the odor sleuth blood hound conversation, dogs have between 125 to 300 million smell receptors, compared to our 5 million. This allows them to literally dissect scents in the air. Ex. If you put beef, carrots, and potatoes into a stew, a dog can smell each distinct smell of each ingredient.
